Those are actually post-Hell Week BUD/S Trainees (LATE 1st Phase, 2nd Phase, or early 3rd Phase). You can tell because of how small the class is, and their distinctive brown shirts - the reward for passing through Hell Week.
@AH12889 Haven't read that one yet, but it's on my list. Also, Marc Luttrell was in Couch's book as one of the brown shirts that helped out the class during Hell Week because he was med-rolled
What phase is this? I know it's post Hell week. But I did not know they trained much in UDT shorts. BUDs students always seem to be in full cammies. Unless they were getting ready to go for a swim?
hey navelreservist209 what can tell me about the enlistment process for BUD/s. I ask because I am located in the Northeast, and I noticed a naval reserve station close by that I had never taken notice ofbefore. Can they direct me to training requirements...PST possibly? Thanks,
@MrWsabi11 No, those students in the video have already gone though hell week. You can tell by what they are wearing. Those who have made it through Hell Week wear brown t-shirts instead of white
@wolverine223 That was a pretty big class and idk if you read "The Warrior Elite" but 28 guys made it to dive phase and 20 went on to 3rd phase. This is even a bigger class so im guessing more will make it through.
Since there's not too many of them and they are running in shorts and shoes, I bet this is toward the end of third phase and they are doing their one 14 mile run.
@TheKale808 i seriously doubt any SEAL feels small. plus i dont think SEALs are worried about their muscles but more focused on getting the job done. not doing bicep curls in the mirror, eating enough food to feed a village in ethiopia and sleeping 10 hours a night
@sgtstupidfreak Didn't mean to offend you. Marines don't need to film running on sand shouting cadences, hiking for miles, or even shoot from a 500 yard line just to prove that we do it. It's mandatory. In fact, infantry Marines do this within the first month of Infantry School.
@Demo9237 brown shirts means that they are in second phase, dive phase, and also means alt of them will drop because dive phase is very demanding maybe 5 guys will make it to 3rd phase

I remember phase two like it was yesterday. Pool comp was no joke but at the end of the day it's just a mental game.
Thank you for your service! What BUD/S class were you?
@@nolanfrazier3482 Lets ask SC Shipley.
Post Hell Week, congrats
Was at the Hotel Del in 84’ or so for a meeting and watched those guys run from one end to the other. Unbelievable

I was class 248. These guys my brothers. Respect to them. Hooyah! Get sum!
@@keith1689 You got proof man?
@@al2603 hell no he don’t
@CeeJay10389 yes, or it could be First Phase still, but just after hellweek because of the brown shirts
Are you allowed to feed them fish?
Woah I was just standing there!
@wolverine223 the brown shirts mean they passed hell week.

@jroberts7387 They are on San Clemente island during third phase. Not Coronado

HOOYAH INSTRUCTOR RENO
would they get mad if you decided to run with them

@StudFrogman10 You just read Couch's book? Me too!

@TheKale808 oh sorry about that, i just have a lot of respect for these warriors. forgive the misunderstanding
@Trey4Fun It's not about the money
@Northernsea
so do you think a marine can take up a navy seals easily?
@Drew927 Hotel del coronado
@sgtstupidfreak

Marines train amphibious boat raids here as I have in 1996, but they must be NAVY because they are running uncoordinated and sloppy.
They are post hell week Navy SEAL Trainees. Far fitter and more resilient than the average marine.
@MrWsabi11 They are wearing Brown Shirts..... meaning they have gone through and completed hell week.
Most likely both.
@StudFrogman10 O SHIT! HOOYAH INSTRUCTER RENO!!! lol What about Senior Chief Jaeger !
Weird to think about how these guys are post hell week meaning most of them are navy seals now
Or how many have written books and trying to find a publisher.
They still have a long ways before earning their Trident.
@IchiDeux naa unfortunately... they might eat you instead of the fish lol.... :D just kidding
@Demo9237

I was there last Friday watch my vlog
i want a Navy Seal...
I get it. I’ve pumped many of them on the DL. Real.
@Deejaytwenty2 probably because they havent gone through hell week yet.
POST HELL WEEK
Those tadpole aren't Navy SEALs.
Run for Israel!!!
Not seals
Nope. Not SEALs yet, not a trident among them
Wow you’re a real expert
Royal marines are tougher
lol.
@rpgdude3815 damn big group
