Oof. I did have one instance where the King Captan lagged out & ultimately disappeared without giving anyone anything. I wasn't paying attention if it was under a street lamp or tree, however. I think that one may have been under a street lamp, so that may make sense! Thanks for the info!
Glad to say I'm not pressed to get the new weapon drops. The game feel sbest when you're not clamoring for gear... Saying that I will be "low key" farming... Cool to get in that DFD run with you. Techter for life! 💪🏾😅
Yea just let it come naturally, in regards to the weapon. The big thing is everything surrounding it though. Lots of reason to be stocking up on all the goodies In Nameless! And most definitely! Always glad to run into people during runs! 💪🏾
I started this game for the first time about 20 mins ago and I have a few questions. My first one is involving multi weapons. Would you say that they're essential to have? I don't have the slightest idea of what skills are good or how to properly chain things together into a rotation, and tbh all the customization feels a bit overwhelming as someone who isn't used to this type of game. I've been enjoying both fighter and gunner because I like close ranged stuff but I often forget to use both when I'm fighting because frankly there are too many moves to keep track of and optimize with. I know that this is one hell of a paragraph but most of the vids on this game are super old and I'm not sure if they'd still be useful at this point. My only real action rpg experience qas black desert online and I didn't play it for more than a month or so due to the microtransactions.
Hello! So you're pretty fresh out the gate, so I would first & foremost recommend kind of trying to progress through the story. There's Class NPCs in each town that help slightly with understanding the classes as well. You can also a find an in-game Game Guide if you open up the menu and go to System -> Help (Very last option). Navigating this can help a bit with understanding things. In direct response to your multiweapon question, I think you're trying to run before you can walk lol. To answer your question though, no, multiweapons are not essential to have. They are not something that you "need" to have in order to be successful within the game. Also, in regards to multiweaponing, you'd generally want to multiweapon weapons that can be used by your main class. So for instance, Fighter main weapons are Twin Dagger, Dual Saber, and Knuckles. You will benefit from the Skill Tree items specific to your class by using these weapons in specific. Especially to a larger degree as a new player. Skill Points can be accessed at the Class NPC. There are a total of 47 points that you can obtain within the game. These can be used freely on your skill tree. Each skill tree will get 47. In order to obtain these skill points, you need to complete Cocoons and Towers. These appear on your world map as the pink/beige colored icons. One which looks like a tower, & the other which looks like a square cocoon. Skill points help tremendously. Ultimately, focus on the main story, as the main story is what will feed you the most exp and level you up the quickest, which will give you access to free ready-to-go weapons and units (armor) that you can use while you work on upgrading to the higher tier gear. I hope this helps a bit!
@Spikesxu I ended up going for the katana and playing the braver class because I like the chaining combos and quick attacks. I'm liking bouncer and waker as well, ranger seems fun but I don't like having to worry about aiming. Honestly all the classes feel fun in some way but it's hard to know what I like the best due to not having the full kits unlocked for everything. I've been mainly using braver/bouncer combo so far and it's gotten me pretty far. The perfect dodges and blocks aren't all that difficult because the monsters are all super telegraphed with their attacks.
@@SundownerMetalGear Most definitely! And that's the big thing to remember! That all the classes and weapons play VERY differently, especially when trying to fully maximize their potential. This creates a very exciting and appealing combat system that allows you to experience something very fresh by simply switching your class or weapon. Once you have all the points to unlock the bulk of the kits, the classes will really start to shine even further and work into their own.
Yea the drop rate on the 12* is pretty much the same as the Wingard. So you shouldn't expect to just get one. Do NOT stress yourself out to a large degree upon getting one. I've learned this the hard way over the years lol. Just let it come naturally. Take advantage of the boosts when you can and get some grinding in when you have the time. However, don't force it & don't overdo it. Because it's much more likely you don't get one than it is that you do. What you do is go in there to farm for all the other goodies you can get in Nameless right now, and if a 12* drops, then it's an added bonus. If you're going in specifically looking for that 12* & not thinking about all the other pluses, then it's going to become stressful. With that being said, go enjoy that grass! Touch it, lay on it, sniff it, eat it if you have to. Grass is good! And very important! lol. Get some rest, the game will be here when you come back :)
Great question! "Downed" is in reference to your first interpretation/understanding of the word. Which is the common language used within the game. So, elemental downs, physical downs, etc. These classify as "downs". Where as the terminology used in the game for an enemy being killed, is usually "defeated" or "felled". The Twaalv perk operates on the triggering of Downs.
Yyyoooo I finally caught you on a random DFD. We did a hella good time! Keep at it bro
Yoooo! Most definitely! Always glad to run into members of the community!
Make sure king Captan is not under a tree or street light he gets stuck which makes you fail the mission

the potential from down enemies meaning "physical down / elemental down" ?? or killed / fallen / slayed ??

Anyone get a 12 drop today?
Been a handful across the servers, so it looks like it's around the same drop rate as the Winguard series, as mentioned in the video.

@@EASTBAY420 Nice! That drop rate go brrrr!
