Hey I’m Josh from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a proud father of 3 and passionate about heavy music.
I was the bass player for post-hardcore/alternative rock group Capulet from 2004-2012, releasing an album, EP and several demos.
Capulet were signed to Red Bull and the Taperjean Music Group alongside Closure in Moscow and The Mission in Motion.
Highlights of my music career were playing with amazing bands like Anberlin, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste the Day, Awaken I Am, and touring Australia several times.
I wasn’t the most technical bass player, but lived for performing on stage. I have always loved the process of song writing and the visual art that accompanies music.

Alex does the highs and lows, just 1 vocalist, they're so gg it's insane, I don't even listen to metal but I got hooked instantly
Bratva is one of the hardest jams I've heard. What i need is a collab album with Alex Terrible and Will Ramos. That would be a monster of an album that I dont think any heavy metal band would be able to replicate or duplicate
Bratva goes so hard yet has so much groove. My favorite STP song, no doubt.

This was the song that got me to start listening to deathcore. I was firmly in the metalcore camp before this. Then I heard Brand of Sacrifice and Lorna Shore. There was no going back after that.
for me it was shadow of intent . as a fan of metalcore and melodeath i just loved the symphonic fast stuff

They are worth every penny to see live. I saw them live last week. Drove 7 hours, paid for a hotel, tickets and a meet and greet. Worth every penny. They are so humble and amazing humans.
They played this song for their encore song. They also debuted a new song from their unreleased album on tour. Be prepared for insanity with the new album.
They also use tons of backing vocal tracks. He doesn’t do the breakdown himself live which is dumb

Zavali Ebalo has some of the best drums of the album imo, the whole album is a great listen
Loved the reaction! Often heard the Slipknot parallels myself. STP is my favorite band, actually meeting them in a couple days in St Louis. Highly suggest checking out Alex Terrible's cover of "BFG Division" by Mick Gordon. It'll melt your face lol

Baba Yaga is definitely their most blatantly slipknot-influenced song, and its definitely one of my favorite of their new stuff
I love that in some of Alex’s vids his dog and cat just hang around like he’s not doing this brutal guttural screams. And also I live the part in the song agony where it goes “I wanna know if you touch the dark” that part is so deep and badass its like an orgasm of the ears

I would say the breakdown for Shadow of Intent - The Heretic Prevails is one of the craziest I have heard and hearing it live was absurd

3:50 I don't want to imagine if he was angry with me, I have seen an honest to god video of this man wrestling a bear while metal growling, this is not a meme, this is an actual thing (Edit: Just to note though there are two primary reasons that it sounds like multiple people screaming with Alex and many other crazy deathcore vocalists. Number 1 is the technique, the tongue can be positioned in a certain way when you are doing gutturals that it sounds like your voice is essentially splitting into a higher and lower one, you can play with the areas that resonate harmonies and those upper pitches in your face, the vocalist of Archspire often does sort of a pig squeal type technique where he does a guttural growl with his tongue positioned sort of back and up in the mouth creating a low growl with a super high sort of squeal that pops out at the top. Number 2 is that even as crazy as Alex is, nobody can sound that loud and heavy with just one recording, many genres use this recording technique but deathcore is huge on layering multiple takes of a scream over each other, with one guttural sounding like two voices and then a fry scream layered on top and then those samples being doubled, that is how the studio recording sound so huge. A screamed vocal generally shouldn't be too much louder than a simple speaking voice volume wise, Alex is just a force of nature who can somehow project it to a whole concert of people off mic. Metal vocals sound loud because of the distortion but if you are learning to scream, don't try to push to be super loud, that is the main way new vocalists hurt themselves.)
Baba Yaga is my favorite song of theirs but fyi they’re not that new just fyi lol. Baba Yaga has what’s widely known now as probably the best breakdown in all of metal. Highly suggest you show and react to that one.
Corey's vocals may be a lot more clearer and more understandable, but Alex has an incredibly unique voice, something I have never heard before

I know who your talking about and I'm not 100 percent sure I'm correct If I ain't and some is sure if it please let me know but I'm pretty sure splutter just lies about that for attention and clout and they think if they say hey I'm Corey Taylor cousins son or whatever they'll get famous I also say that they are liars because I found one of their shorts and there was a comment by Simon crahan (clown from slipknots son and drummer for vended Corey's sons band ) saying something along the lines of dude who the hell even are you I've never even heard of you and I know it was his official TH-cam because it was ya know it actually was so that's just what I can tell from that band but I also could be wrong also I'm pretty sure that there Russian anyway and obviously Corey Taylor is from Iowa.

It’s a good song don’t get me wrong but personally I think the breakdown isn’t as heavy or crazy as everyone has tried to make it sound definitely could have been heavier considering the band
