He may not be a very good villain but he is just such a fun character, and the fact that he is defeated by being tied up by a bunch of rats and thrown into a closet is just hilarious. Him getting gradually more insane and crazier as the movie goes on is just so amusing.
I like the whole film including the second half and ending of Up: I think him letting go of the adventurer that brought him and his wife together, and to paradise falls to depart is nice symbolism: It's him essentially letting go of the past, much of the film is a metaphor about loss/mourning.
Hate how they made Gabby Gabby a villain that wanted to destroy Woody for her own selfish needs and then try to make us feel bad for her once they reveal to us her sad backstory. And then Woody gives up his voicebox once she legit guilt tripped him into believing he's old and nobody wants to play with him anymore. Would've been a perfect opportunity for it just to be her crying crocodile tears and s**t but no redeem her because she's actually a really good person even though she wanted to murder Woody. Toy Story 4 didn't even need a villain, but then again that would imply that they needed a Toy Story 4 to begin with.

I feel like Alpha just doesn't have as much of a character to work with. His role is to serve his master and that's about it. Sure, he was cool to see on screen but doesn't really deserve to be up there with the other pixar villains imo
Chick is the ONLY reason for McQueen to get lost in RS, he pressured McChicken to go to Cali that much faster and that's why he told Mac&Cheese to hurry up and go without rest. Without Chick McQueen could've just had a conversation with the king and maybe get another temporary team to win and then just lose Dynoco because he's that stupid or change because of all the people who can truly help him.
Too bad Disney refuses to put it onto Disney+. They want to deny it ever existing. :( That version of Zurg legit gave me the jeebies, lol. But I remember that show being my jam as well.
I think the main reason the bird from a bugs life was so terrifying was because from the bug’s perspective it’s enormous, but it also moves and jolts its body around at the same speed that bird would for a human. Seeing a massive creature move so fast is probably enough to freak anyone out
Honestly when he's being fed to the chicks, it kinda hits that "uncanny" type feel. The chicks, while supposedly cute, are kinda creepy here, and it's probably due to being from Hopper's point of view.
I think that Hopper was a great villain. Hopper is the only one on this list that for every second he is on the screen, he radiates being a menace, something Dreamworks perfected with the villain Death. When I watched it as a kid, the suspense during his screen time was off the roof. If a Bugs life was not made for kids, he could in a weird sense give off similar vibes as Homelander, noone talks when he talks, there is no obvious way to outsmart him when the status quo is upheld and he is unpredictable to the audience, like when he kills the grasshoppers in the bar just to prove a point. I would honestly put Hopper as #1
Btw, ofc, Death and Homelander both CAN actually back up their threat, but Hopper gives off the same energy because he makes sure he never have to back it up.
Okay, Evelyn's only helping the Supers to boost them up and THEN pull the rug out at the first opportunity. Her plan is to keep them illegal FOREVER, and people are gonna be a lot more angry at Supers if they betray non-Supers as soon as they have power (ha) again... Still a dumb plan just for the purpose of having a villain in your dumb sequel, but y'know, at least the rest of the movie wasn't too bad...
In my opinion some of the characters in the video aren't villains. A villain is meant to be evil and chaotic. Jackson Storm isn't a villain, he doesn't want to kill or hurt anyone, he doesn't do anything bad (except for the scene in the end when he pushes Cruz, but characters like Chik have done worse). The doll from Toy Story 4 also isn't evil, or Anton Ego or anyone from Monsters University. Not all antagonists are villains and that's a good thing.
I dont like the villain of Toy Story 4. She never apologized and spent most of the movie trying to steal an organ for her own selfish gain. And she is never punished.
I feel like you missed the point of Cars 3, there was 2 stories being told. One which is blatantly told, is that newer younger athletes will eventually replace the old, McQueen represents those athletes that were once admired and beloved now have to face the reality that they are going to be replaced. The next story is Cruz, who looked into inspiration from McQueen but was shut down her parents because they told her she was never good enough, the story being told is that she represents all of us in one point of our lives. Sometimes we want to do something but get shut down. The point is to take those negative things and give a positive spin to it. I agree it's a bit run down, and not that well told. But the intent is there.
I’m a bit of a wall-e fan, and i’m also a huge fan of stories with robots. So uh let me ramble about why i like Auto a tiny bit :) (WARNING! I INFODUMP ABOUT AN ENTIRELY SEPARATE STORY!!!) AI, despite taking things less literally than just a robot, will still just follow orders. It does what the very core of it’s programming says it does. It does what it’s designed to do. AI can’t change that. I’m a portal fan, yeah? And i think the best example of AI or intelligent robots (self-aware even!) still following orders comes from portal 2 and it’s second act antagonist. No amount of artificial intelligence or awareness or human-like traits can change how a robot is designed. The second act antagonist, wheatley, is in a position where he is able to learn. But he just can’t. He’s not designed with the ability to learn and grow. Despite basically being insanely developed AI, he can’t move away from the orders and code he was given. That code makes him stupid, he can’t change that. So let’s bring this back to Auto. I like him as a villain because he’s rogue AI and i love rogue AI. AI can’t divert from orders or code though. And the orders he has are that earth isn’t safe. The AI isn’t told what to do with that information other than to keep humans away. It doesn’t tell the AI how. It just follows the orders and code it was given as a guideline, then does whatever the fuck it wants. It’s so cool to me because it’s neat to watch a robot fail to interpret humans properly and fail to understand change. I will never be tired of AI in stories. It has so much potential.
Auto’s complete roboticism making him so one note is actually a great contrast to every other robot character accept the police robots. The “good guy robots” have fully human personalities, goals, aspirations, interests, internal conflicts, and emotional attachments. Auto is just alexa as a steering wheel, which I see how wording it that way would come accross as a criticism, but it actually makes him stand out more and more of a threat
Charles Munce. Really? I would agree if his villainy actually did anything other than add runtime to the movie. He could be removed entirely and all the essentials would still be there. Here’s what would have been better: Munce is dead and his dogs have taken over his dream in his stead, so they are obsessively trying to still catch this bird even though the reason for them to do so is gone. See how that parallels Carl’s quest to fulfill something for someone who is already gone? Those lost doggos could all have been redeemed in learning the same lesson as Carl- don’t take up the burdens of the dead, live your life. Anyway, great presentation of your opinions, you had good reasons throughout even for Munce.
Imo gabby gabby is the worst, she is a emotionally manipulative, terrible and a down right despicable human who attacks woody throughout the film but yet still gets the voice box that she wants despite never apologizing. May I mention that when she gets the voice box she leaves her loyal puppet companions in the antique store? And that the film treats her like a good person just because she is saying “gimme the voice box pls” instead of “gimme the voice box”? May I mention that her message for disability is that if you have a problem you need to fix yourself in order to be worthy of love? I think I’ve said enough.
The fact no one mentions skinner's height during the entire movie has always been kinda funnier than shrek 1 making jokes about it every 5 mins Skinner top tier villain im completely bias
The sad thing about Incredibles 2 is that the villain was meant to be totally different. They could've done something similar to Syndrome with Screenslaver. Dont reveal him until the end of the film amd it's actually Winston Deavor. It makes more sense IMO.
What I love about the WALLE thing with live, not survive is: I am German and in German the word for to live is „leben“, whereas the one for to survive is „überleben“. Even without understanding German you can probably see what I mean. That only one single syllable can make such a big difference in meaning always gave that line so much more punch in the German version for me.

🔥Your a legend! Great list, love the content dude
I grinded my teeth when I realised that Zurg was actually Buzz in Lightsnack- I mean, Lightweight- I-I mean, Lightbeer- You know what I mean.

the first 6 minutes and 30 seconds this guy is just brutally and violently tearing into some movies I genuinely enjoyed and loved ):
It’s ok keep enjoying them
While I would’ve put Auto higher on the list, I still agree with your choices overall…
Syndrome was truly the best of the best. Evelyn was such a massive disappointment in comparison. There's also the fact that Syndrome was actually almost successful. Like he almost got away with it. If he hadn't gotten so pissed he lost sight of his goal and attempted to kidnap jackjack he could have easily won even if the others had been the one to stop the robot.
Pretty good ranking of those, wonder if you could do that with Kingdom Hearts villains one day, since that is a Disney franchise, but in Gaming. I mean you don't have to
Unpopular Opinion: Cars 2 is actually a great movie if you just look at it outside the lens of the Cars franchise.
nobody forms their own opinion on cars 2. feel like people haven’t seen it in ages and just have the same sheep opinion
I feel like the older I get, the worse the movie gets, and I loved it when it came out. But it’s still fun to watch. If I’m really bored I throw it on for background noise.
Cats 2 is ableist

Whirl agree ScreenSlaver sucks the Underminer was rightfully used as a one off. Making him be the main antagonist would be like making Bon Voyage the main villain in the first one over Syndrome

What about Alpha? since you talked about other side villains like Ego ( though I wouldn’t call him a villain ) Alpha was the rival to Dug while Charles was the rival to Carl some of these villains are what the hero could have become if they went down a darker path plus some of these villains have quite the ego in them I like that version of Zurg and Thunderclap though I understand why people don’t look forward to seeing a dreamworks villains list
I like the original Buzz Lightyear TV show.
Too bad Disney refuses to put it onto Disney+. They want to deny it ever existing. :(
That version of Zurg legit gave me the jeebies, lol.
Oh phew… I was hoping you would put Zurg near the top of the list, but thankfully, it was the opposite. By the way great work!
Could you link the songs you used in the video? They go pretty hard. Great video as per usual!
Despite some dumb villains like in Cars 2, I still love all of the Pixar movies nonetheless
If Viggo grimborn isn’t at the number 1 spot for your dreamworks villain ranking, I’m calling shenanigans
Who is he again?
@@KnuttyEntertainment I think from How to train your dragon
Bruh he's only in the animated series not in the actual movies lol
Dude, how do you record/download the movies you use so they look THAT fluid?
Okay, Evelyn's only helping the Supers to boost them up and THEN pull the rug out at the first opportunity. Her plan is to keep them illegal FOREVER, and people are gonna be a lot more angry at Supers if they betray non-Supers as soon as they have power (ha) again...
Still a dumb plan just for the purpose of having a villain in your dumb sequel, but y'know, at least the rest of the movie wasn't too bad...
It really says something to the quality between movies where Syndrome and Evelyn are placed.
Didnt Gabby want Woodys voice box by force
@Disney Duo look up How Toy Story 4 ruined everything the person goes in deep detail on why Gabby sucks
I’d consider storm a villian
Just to tell you( I still think your videos are very well made,) villains aren’t always embodied as a talking person
Could you imagine Jack-Jack being the villain in Incredibles 2 instead?
That would be dumb

Also syndrome will always be my fav Pixar villain
I’m a bit of a wall-e fan, and i’m also a huge fan of stories with robots. So uh let me ramble about why i like Auto a tiny bit :)
(WARNING! I INFODUMP ABOUT AN ENTIRELY SEPARATE STORY!!!)
AI, despite taking things less literally than just a robot, will still just follow orders.
Nah, that wouldn’t make sense, the dogs needed Charles to get their goal
Im so happy you put Syndrome as number 1. He is by far the best villain.
Rank every Blue Sky villain!
21:14 having 2 older siblings isn’t the same thing as being the third person in your bloodline with your name
The fact no one mentions skinner's height during the entire movie has always been kinda funnier than shrek 1 making jokes about it every 5 mins
Skinner top tier villain im completely bias
The sad thing about Incredibles 2 is that the villain was meant to be totally different. They could've done something similar to Syndrome with Screenslaver. Dont reveal him until the end of the film amd it's actually Winston Deavor. It makes more sense IMO.
I don’t get the hate for cars 2. One of my favorite Pixar movies if I’m being honest

The only thing that could make this video better would be to rank the monkey from Toy Story 3. That monstrosity defined my childhood imaginings.
i love how The Goofy Movie is the only movie that popped up on my reccomended while watching this video.
Sid did nothing wrong. There was no way that he could've known that the toys were alive or deep what he was doing to them. He is actually a creative boy who had a passion for tinkering with his toys.
Though he was a bit of a dick to his little sister.

Honestly screenslaver annoyed me too with her "vengeance" her dad despite knowing hero's were now illegal still called, also the 2 he called didn't syndrome kill them. I'm not sure when.
From what I understand the murder of her parents happened right after supers were banned, and Syndrome started testing the Omnidroid way after that, luring heroes with promise of reliving their former glory
