Hondo, I'm so glad you pulled out the belt today. A game Everyone an ass woman in reality. What your take and the things you said about the raiders and their draft is spot on. We have to give people a chance we have to invest in our draft picks. We cannot keep switching people and flip-flopping. Like the only pretty girl in a small town, high school hopping around

AP and Telesco made a huge mistake when they hired Getsy and then allowed him to change from a successful power block scheme to a disastrous zone block scheme. Both AO and Minshew looked bad under getsy and his high school scheme

Hondo, Tyree has had 3 good games this year, maybe 4. He's not a rookie and hasn't shown he's worth a 1st rounder. Decam and JB have done good for rookies. We need to see more of Sincere, Laube, Eichenburg, and some of these other's young guys to see who we are keeping for the future.

Bennet is a great young corner for this team. And you were correct 100 percent on being patient with him. But I still don’t believe in Tyree Wilson

We need to stop the comparison between AP and Dan Campbell. It’s almost disrespectful to Dan Campbell. One has 13yrs coaching in this league, partly as an interim HC and assistant HC to Sean Payton, and was sought after by and organization to become their next HC. The other has been coaching in the league for 2 1/2yrs and became the interim HC by default. Let’s be honest, AP was hired off emotion and the support of the locker room. I’m not saying he won’t turn into a good HC one day but, I think he needs a lot more years of experience before becoming a HC. The Raiders aren’t in the position to wait years for him to develop, if it happens.

@Elviejo75 There’s A LOT more going on behind the scenes than Ole Uncle Hondo is telling you. There’s levels and layers to this. Go ahead and put all of the blame on AP if you like. That’s exactly what Mark Davis & Telesco want Raider Nation to do.
The “fix” was in the moment they didn’t bring back Josh Jacobs. (The guy AP referred to as “the heartbeat of the team, a Raider through and through”) That’s when AP found out that it wasn’t “his team”.
The rest…. as they say…. is history.

What was his contract with G.B.? The Raiders had so many needs they may not have been able to afford him, I'm only throwing it out there not judging ,that's why I'd like to know how much the packers gave him, the salary cap makes things really difficult , a trade isn't just a trade and resigning quality players isn't as simple as it seems , you see high impact players getting g cut and released so teams can make the cap every season and rb has become a lower priority over the last 3 decades

I’d be very curious to know when Hondo’s bad opinion of Josh Jacobs really started….
After the Raiders didn’t match the Packers’ offer, Hondo said that it was when Jacobs showed up to camp “severely out of shape”
last year… (like Hondo should ever be critiquing the physique and physical shape of any professional athlete)
The fact that those words came out of Hondo’s mouth always and without exception gives me a good, hearty chuckle…. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Imagine my surprise to hear him on here…
once again…. bad mouthing Josh Jacobs and questioning his character and heart. Basically saying that his only good year was in a “contract year”…. blah blah blah
Well, I guess if it’s ok for Hondo to do baseless character assassinations, maybe I’ll join in too…. Has anyone else on here noticed how Hondo has an obvious bias to players of a more…. how should I word this…. Caucasian persuasion?

Youth movement is what I was making a case for last season for this season.. should have always been a development season, ought to have traded Adams in the offseason and let AOC start with a Joe Milton type backing him up … why did we sign James? Uncle Hondo, sometimes you crack me up.
I believe the correct term you are looking for is when your first child “was born” not when your first kid came out. As an “improved father,”
I would hope that you would have learned to use the correct terms “when my first child was born”, or “the birth of my first child.”
I’m pretty sure that the famous Christmas Carol about Christ’s birth doesn’t say: “For unto us a Son came out.” Lol!
Between laughing my head off at that very crude statement and then getting to witness first hand the hilariously cartoonish way that you parent your 2 year old, I really didn’t even pay any attention to anything that you tried to say about the Raiders. I could instantly tell that you were completely befuddled and distracted trying to do a “serious podcast” with a 2 year old in the same room with you…. My ribs hurt from me laughing so hard! I absolutely loved it! I have to say, it was one of your best episodes yet. The other one, of course was when your wife came on and talked about how mortified she was about you wearing white socks with the Black Air Force Ones.
I say you should have your wife and Dexter be your permanent co-hosts on the show and have them talk to us about the Raiders. That would be the ideal podcast format for this show.
You should seriously consider doing it at least once a week when you do the answering fans emails episode and allow your wife and kid the opportunity to answer some of the emails.
I would send in an email every week if that were the case.

The Raiders will never win with Antonio Pierce. He is completely lost on the sidelines. If you think the Raiders will win with Shedeur Sanders you don't know football. The Raiders have been rebuilding since 2003, you can't say the fans have not been patient. "A rebuilding process?" The Raiders will never be great with Mark Davis as the owner.

      @jame950 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

@Robert-fs6ge what first time coach do you know of that turned around a team right away? Went to a championship and super bowl right away? There's been 1 in the whole history or the league and that was in the 70s. Most every other team has had to lose before winning with a new coach. The last time the raiders passed the first round of the playoffs (which is also theor last superbowl) Callahan took over grudens team, kept everyone but Warren Sapp, then his next couple seasons were crap. If AL is such a savior, why did the raiders suck while he was still alive after that year? This started before AP and before Mark. We stopped having consistency after Grudens first go. It's been a search for that ever since. We've had top notch OCs and offensive minded head coaches, didn't work. The best QB we've had in 30 years since Rich Gannon was Derek Carr. But we keep going through coaches. Gruden might still be here had that whole thing not happened, but he's not and he's not coming back. Look at Tomlin though, he took time to win big, but he also got to start off with good players and a great QB. Tom Coughlin same scenario. Take in mind Gruden never played high level football either. So to say AP can't win is a long shot. Especially after an interim season and this season. He hasn't had a chance to learn. Andy Reid made some of the exact same mistakes when he started head coaching and look at him now. The Eagles lost many big games because of his decisions

Mark Davis just needs to sell the team. He’s in over his head. Also, he’s a Tommy boy, and the team will never be successful that he gone.
