Great video and comparison. The Sly Shop does have some good qualities, I really think it's the paint that let's the sculpt down. Seems (in pics & vids) on par with Sideshow's Jack Burton..
Great comparison video, bro! I need to get one of these and my choice would have to be the ThreeZero! Like you said, the SlyShop version is a decent clean version of Rambo, but he does look more like Rocky than Rambo. I like the scale, weathered details, and likeness more on the ThreeZero too. I think the ThreeZero was also a little bit cheaper? I'll have to check on that, but hopefully I can still pick up one soon... ;)
Will agree with the scale side of things brother Marlo and you are right ....bang for buck with weathering and weapons i felt it did tip the scale to Threezero side...

I will not say more likeness, because these figures are from different situations of the movie, one is after he discover that he's friend died from cancer ( sadness look), and the other one is a rage figure after he was confronting all the police from town ( rage look ). I have the three zero and I will pick this one too, both are great , in my opinion , is up to you decide what is your favorite in the movie . 👍🏻
After viewing this video I went ahead and placed an order at Sideshow with a $25 discount and some reward points to get it down to $140, so not too bad! Looking forward to adding this to the collection as well! It's all your fault!!! Haha..!
Great review. I bought the threezero version. I think it's far superior than the sly shop. The only thing better about it than threezero is the fact it has a base and quite a nice one too. 👍🙏😁
i didn't want to show all the threezero accessories because it was a Slystalone unboxing ...sort of a respect thing i suppose ..You are right though !!

Good honest review mate. Lots of negativity out in internet land on the sly shop one and i've thrown my fair share of flack at it😄Not good enough for the price and defo not a game changer. Shame if they had of put more effort in and lowered the price a bit it would have been a great figure. Looks like they recast the hot toys knife maybe. Not a fan of the sculpt, boots or body they used. Rest of its ok. Threezero aint perfect either but its better value and a better sculpt for sure. That makes or breaks it for me. Nice "doll" comparison😄1st world problems eh? Gotta just "Let it go"😜

Stallone already said do not compare the two because one shows the aggressive battered down look and the other shows the calm, peaceful but sad look of John at the start of the film. That Rambo is more towards the end of the film after he went through hell so comparing them would be invalid. He said the expression comes from hearing that his friend died from cancer from the war. That's the look he was going for....
The sculps are totally different. Lower part of the slyshops mouth us to swollen and the chin is to round and if you didn't notice the head scale is larger than threezeros nothing to do with expression..
That head sculpt and hair is definitely how he looked in first blood which is my all time favorite Stallone movie. Rambo first is probably in my top 10 movies of all time
the rambo with the m65 coat has a way better face

Sylvester Stallone isn't very tall. He's 5.6ft at most.

Yeah I know , because o this I say this is two different figures in different situations i have the three zero one but I will buy this one too.

No. Because the knife on the right(slystalloneshop) has no 14 teeth, no holes and no strap. Overal threezero is more accurate.
