I also never got the lady Dior bc of both those reasons. I think sometimes we forget how old these brands are. When they first started those charms were never seen before, I presume. So it was unique and innovative. Then everyone seeing their successs copies it and then even the high street brands start copying it until it floods the market and is seen in every Walmart, ross target etc. then it looks cheap and now people start associating the premium brand with looking cheap. It’s an interesting cycle
I have the same woc. I agree with the crossbody positioning on the side. But I think the reason why designers change it is to be different, sometimes at the sacrifice or practicality. Maybe check the Hermes men’s bag collection. Men’s stuff tend to be more practical which you seem to be. And you know it will be understated quality. The only downside is it still costs an arm and a leg and no one knows it cost an arm and a leg …if that is a concern, not saying it is a concern
Many of your pet peeves resonate with me too! The tassle also keeps me from buying the YSL camera bag. Even though it's removable, I feel like I'm paying for something I don't want :)
I have the same pet peeve on the position of the strap. I think it’s the company trying to save money and production time. It’s a deal breaker for me. I haven’t bought a Lady Dior because of the strap issue. Great video!
I have the exact same pet peeves!!😂 I do have the YSL camera bag but I remove the tassel when I wear it. I do have a Coach bag just like the Alma BB, but I only top handle it.
Thank you for the recommendation! I love the way it looks - So elegant, but that one has the strap attached to the back too, right? also I'm concerned the flap would be hard to get in and out of. Looks totally lovely though.
I would like to disagree for Della bag, the bag actually flushes so well against my body because the straps are flushed from the back ☺️ the looks is deceiving from the images but I’ve worn it both ways, cross and shoulder bag. It’s my favorite bag!

Yes, so true!

I’d recommend the Belt Bag from Celine. I love it and I love their bag spa policy too

I think it's charming that Dior adds little charms to its bags. Makes it interesting. Here's an idea: Making the tassel a USB, so it would have a use.
