@TheRetro Slivr Well it doesn't really matter, the CPU is an 8 bit CPU. Also the 2600 has only one chip, the TIA, that handles graphics and sound. As for the sound, I don't believe anyone really knows how to classify it. It has 2 channels, with 5 bit pitch selectors (32 different notes), 4 bit volume selector, and a 4 bit waveform selector. I will admit I've seen the audio described as 1 bit before.

I mean't, bB really lazy with compiling, so a lot of unneccessary data is created (I remember rewriting the code line by line and gained 3-400 bytes every bank) and on the other hand, bB is really static, you can do only little changes to what your game will look like. That's why I decided going on developing my own tool.

Unless you’re screwing around with the colour/black and white switch, colours shouldn’t cut out. Zippy doesn’t even support the tv type switch, so it’s probably due to how the video was recorded
Also, the spring jumping sound. Were they digitized from the original or they just managed to compose them from scratch/reverse engeneering/I-don't-know-howization?
This videomaker (th-cam.com/video/Gg5yRSVhdTg/w-d-xo.html) says he managed to get the game to work in real hardware, both at the 2600 and the 7800. Maybe if you got an 7800 emulator it could run it?
@@dr.eggman5593 Aqua zone is in the game. I own a copy of it. You don't need to play those levels though if Eggman (Called "Dr. Dodo" in the manual) doesn't fly there though. They're definitely the hardest levels in the game. The "lower" section of the level has different physics because it's underwater which makes things just as frustrating as the a normal sonic game. No drowning though so that's nice.
@@Ballowax I use an old dvd recorder to decode the rf signal, then I bring the picture signal to the EasyCam and the audio to a Tactic Alpha USB soundcard.
