A few tips: (no spoilers mentioned) Guns are op in this game. Try to avoid them as much as you can. Use the detection system to your advantage. Let guards see you till the mark gets red so they come to your position. Do some side quests every now and then to earn some money to upgrade your load out since it really will make a difference. Those golden chests contain Assassin Outfits from older Assassins. You will encounter the Cafe Theatre after a couple of missions. Once you unlocked it, play every mission possible and renovate as many buildings as you can to earn a reasonable amount of money. 40 t and hour so, might be less. The difficulty is ranked in 5 levels. You are currently a recruit which is the reason why your difficulty level is so low. It will get harder by progressing. You'll unlock some skills in form of points in this game. Use them wisely. Get the staggering strike and the heavy attack first and upgrade your health and your Assassin abilities. Buy a heavy sword in the beginning of the game since it will allow you to take on harder enemies. After you've progressed a bit you should change it to a normal sword since it is the fastest and most reliable on.

For example, the first heavy weapon makes more damage than the first sword you have meaning killing higher ranked enemies will be 'easier'. Eventhough you have a disadvantage, being slower, but if you've mastered the fightint mechanism it should be a problem

Long weapons have the best blocking and have the best heavy attack as it staggers any target including brutes. Heavy weapons heavy attack is too slow and is slower than swinging normally twice.

Hollow, I’m not sure if anyone else had said this but when you’re doing parkour, the R2 and X is essentially FREE RUN UP whereas R2 and O is FREE RUN DOWN. once you get used to it it’s amazing & way easier to traverse than before
i loved this mechanic sooooo much even as a day one fan, definitely should’ve stayed and been modified if anything not taken out, when your play the origins-valhalla the fightings cool but it’s nothing near as fun overall first glance and after time like unity was 💯

The Sivert assassination mission has an awesome “unique kill” that you missed, which is fine, I like that this game doesn’t hold your hand for everything. The unique kill is assassinating him in the confession booth through the divider screen, no witnesses, clean kill, awesome animation. Look out for interesting opportunities like that in future missions, there’s always multiple ways to get in, some of which allow for a fun kill opportunity.

for someone whos been playing assassins creed unity for years now it was really frustrating watching hollow mess up, but as he said he will get used to it and get better, it is a big learning curve from other AC games
I just turned everything off to get some sleep as it’s half 3 in the morning in the UK but I got the notification on my phone saying you uploaded part 2 so I have now turned everything back on lmao. Funny thing is I literally told myself “he won’t upload it for a while so I’ll get some rest” hear my phone buzz a couple minutes later and low and behold it’s hollow uploading unity part 2. You love to see it.
I love that we see Arno break and turn to the bottle. He is not some invisible character that nothing gets to him. He is human and he breaks down and he has flaws and yet he raises again despite all that!
It's a fantastic game. Especially now days, jumping back into this week after Valhalla made me realize just how much they've lost the identity with Assassin's Creed.
They gave up on the formula and true assassin's when the stealth fell off which if I'm honest stealth fell off when origins was released and don't even get me started on Valhalla which has nothing to do with assassin's why even have it in the name that's why the series is falling off now
Hollow, another bit of information. The “John Standish” in the abstergo video was the guy in AC4 that was talking to you the whole time present day aka Black Bart during Edwards missions
I like how Hollow's perspective in playing an AC game evolved. I remember him being not stealthy at all in the first games and after each game his perspective changed and he started playing AC like it was supposed to be played. Being stealthy and taking his time to come up with a strategy.
1. They removed the whistle button 2. R2 + X is acending and R2 + O is decending 3. Go to the cafe which you can renovate to earn an income its located on the right island to the right of the notradam cathedral 4. You can remove all the hud and other stuff by holding in R3 for a few seconds its great when exploring, and making it seem more Cinematic 5. When you play AC Syndicate im not sure how it works on the PC but i know it does not work on the Ps5 theres a lighting glitch in the sky and it does not go away so i recommend playing on the Ps4 6. If you wat to get money fast replay the mission "It Belongs in a Museum" you can access it anytine in the progress menu look under co-op it gives you f 75 000 and can be replayed as much as possible Hope this helps also loving the AC Unity vidz
He really doesn't "carry" himself like Ezio. After he escapes prison he just becomes a empty character. Always serious, barely any jokes etc. But he does act more like Altaïr which I don't know if it is that good.
In terms of being like ezio I meant his sort of swagger if you will , hes more like altair assassin wise (try to explain without spoilers) but at times he acts more like a younger naive ezio with some of his remarks later in the game , I just replayed this myself and I'm on syndicate

Syndicate is the only AC game I never finished because of how bored I was playing it and how boring the city and environment was. Looked good on paper, but once executed, it was bland and boring. IMO
For me unity was one of the best AC games. Parkour was fantastic, had decent stealth elements and still looks good too. I'd love a remaster though or a patch for the PS5 with 60fps and better draw distance
If you already figured it out then great but when running on the side of buildings R2 alone will make you parkour at one level R2+X will make you ascend which is good for elevated structures. While holding R2 if you tap X rather than hold it you can do jumps/leaps this applies to every parkour situation even when on the ground and allows more precise movement when trying to reach where you want because holding X can take you o a more predetermined path.I’m glad this game is finally being recognised and that you enjoy it
Hollow I know this is gonna sound kinda weird. But I would really recommend checking out gameplay guides on Unity. The game has a lot of “hidden” mechanics which will really help you out. This game can be a lot more challenging than others in terms of stealth and combat so I feel like you should at least give them a watch to maximize your enjoyment of the game. My personal recommendation is a channel called LeoK, he has really beginner friendly guides on Unity parkour, stealth, armor choice, etc.

this is my best game ever ever ever let me tell you: when this game was released i didn't have pc or ps4 to play it and i used to watch the trailer over and over and i download it and i watch all youtubers playing it from the beginning to the end and now before a year i bought a gaming laptop it was the first game i installed and i completed it like 10 times i did every little mission i run though the city day and night like i kept playing it for whole week non stop
Not gonna lie. When this game was released in 2015, most of the time it played on og ps4 in 20-25fps range. Especially when the huge crowds were rendered. And for the PC version It needed beefy specs and was unoptimised (like most Ubisoft games). They changed the whole parkour and combat(which is good but confusing for people used to black flag). Many copies of the game also had infamous bugs. After black flag, people saw it as a step in the wrong direction.
Nah, that’s AC1. Unity is probably the most overrated AC game among AC fans nowadays. I understand why people have retroactively come to appreciate it, but but it’s nowhere near the quality of any of the previous games, besides Rogue.

This game has some of the best parkour/free running animations i've ever seen. Even the character running has a very satisfying animation to it.

Syndicate is the only AC game I never finished because of how bored I was playing it and how boring the city and environment was. Looked good on paper, but once executed, it was bland and boring. IMO

Lets goo Playing Assassin's Creed Unity!! 6 Years Later
For me unity was one of the best AC games. Parkour was fantastic, had decent stealth elements and still looks good too. I'd love a remaster though or a patch for the PS5 with 60fps and better draw distance

In this game, you will have to buy new armor and weapons, if you don't you will have a very hard time later in the game.
You will be too OP tho then, the game is not that hard tbh.
Finished the game without armor upgrades. Assassin's creed games are pretty casual and relaxed. It's not a heart pumping fps.

If you already figured it out then great but when running on the side of buildings R2 alone will make you parkour at one level R2+X will make you ascend which is good for elevated structures. While holding R2 if you tap X rather than hold it you can do jumps/leaps this applies to every parkour situation even when on the ground and allows more precise movement when trying to reach where you want because holding X can take you o a more predetermined path.I’m glad this game is finally being recognised and that you enjoy it
Came to this channel for AC: Rogue, continued for AC: Unity. Yes, the mechanics are new and need another practice to get used to
Hollow I know this is gonna sound kinda weird. But I would really recommend checking out gameplay guides on Unity. The game has a lot of “hidden” mechanics which will really help you out. This game can be a lot more challenging than others in terms of stealth and combat so I feel like you should at least give them a watch to maximize your enjoyment of the game. My personal recommendation is a channel called LeoK, he has really beginner friendly guides on Unity parkour, stealth, armor choice, etc.
Facts. LeoK is the reason I fell in love with Unity.

this is my best game ever ever ever let me tell you:
when this game was released i didn't have pc or ps4 to play it
and i used to watch the trailer over and over and i download it
and i watch all youtubers playing it from the beginning to the end and now before a year i bought a gaming laptop it was the first game i installed and i completed it like 10 times i did every little mission i run though the city day and night like i kept playing it for whole week non stop

Not gonna lie. When this game was released in 2015, most of the time it played on og ps4 in 20-25fps range. Especially when the huge crowds were rendered. And for the PC version It needed beefy specs and was unoptimised (like most Ubisoft games). They changed the whole parkour and combat(which is good but confusing for people used to black flag). Many copies of the game also had infamous bugs. After black flag, people saw it as a step in the wrong direction.
Hollow who played this game for a few hours, figured out how to ledge grab which players were trying to do for years 😭😂

Nah, that’s AC1. Unity is probably the most overrated AC game among AC fans nowadays. I understand why people have retroactively come to appreciate it, but but it’s nowhere near the quality of any of the previous games, besides Rogue.
I know it takes time to edit breath of the wild but man am I excited for you to play the next quest. It’s really worth the time bro!
