I have been using manual mode, mostly, but I have experienced BSR 1, with the idling, since I see one can use it for thread painting and feathers with the sparkly thread. Thank you for the tips!

You are welcome. Try the other modes. They add to how much you can quilt without having to concentrate so much on keeping the stitches right. Cheers.
