Will do a 2 hour real 737 simulator tomorrow. All these lessons are so helpful - I hope that I can get that simulator off and on the ground without help of my instructor!
Hey buddy love these videos, even as a real world pilot myself you pointed out some items I wasn't aware of on the 737. I'm not qualified to fly this but I still think I do a good job but you have given me great insight with these tutorials keep um coming. I'm so glad we had your feedback of the max prior to it coming out. Lastly I see it seems you using some traffic for AI. Which one are you using if you don't mind.
Hello, Thank you for your informative videos and for sharing your professional experience with us. I have a small problem with this superb aircraft, and that is that I always get the take-off config alarm which sounds as soon as I increase the throttle above 40%. However, I follow a checklist and everything seems perfect; Do you have any idea what the majority of this could be? Thank you.
I notice that the ifly auto throttles will disengage if I input any throttle movement, especially during takeoff. My question is, are you moving your physical throttle levers once you press TOGA? If not, are you moving your throttle up to takeoff thrust whilst pressing TOGA? I’m curious as to if you’re letting the aircraft spool up the engines by itself to takeoff thrust and not inputting any throttle movement yourself because I noticed that if I input any throttle movement with autothrottle on, it causes the autothrottle to disengage. Thanks
Don’t quote me on this but I believe the the throttles will become available after TOGA is pressed to allow the pilot to do an abort takeoff if necessary.
A/T disengagement will only occur if the split between the two thrust levers will exceed a certain angle. However you can manually overwrite them at any time.
Hello! Many thanks for the videos. Can't understand is it normal or not, or what am I doing wrong or not. Every Boeing Aicraft in MFS 2020, like 737 and 777 PMDGs and now 737 max from iFly climb to high right after my take off. I'm siming with Boeing Yoke from Thrustmaster but before this I had only side stick from Thurstmaster. And then and now it's like my aircraft cilmbs to high after my take off, like 5-6-7k feet per minute. Every calculation, every procedure is done before that and I think correctly. Can't understand is it normal or not, suppose that is not. What else I should do ?
Wondering if you’ll be flying in CTP this weekend and if your previous CTP stream will be available to view. It might help some of the new pilots as you know CTP gets hectic
Hi, I just came back home from a 7 day layover that was preceeded by 3 days in the hotel during a standby. I'll take a couple days off flight simming to relax a bit so no CTP for me. I also don't have a slot since my original roster (before things got screwed around by that very long trip from standby) would have had me flying today.
Is there a way to disable throttle movement by your throttle quadrant while A/T is engaged? They had that option in P3D, but I can't find the settings in MSFS or their documents.
Hello, this has been a huge help for me!!! Is it possible for you to create a checklist for us to follow?? That would be very nice! Sorry for reapeating the comment, i rlly would love that!
Hi there, does anyone know why my thrust always reduces (almost to idle) every time I only touch or do slightest movements to my thrust levers after I pressed TO/GA?

9:53 Me who flies the 737-800 religiously and did that on my first flight with the MAX cause I forgot 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you very much! I use FSTraffic by JustFlight for my AI.
@A330Driver the behavior has changed? Because I think I remember the ai behaviors seemed to be a bit wacky

Thank you.
The most common mistakes is for people to arm the speed brake. Don’t.
Apart from that trim and flap setting are common causes.
Could you please do one long video from full flight tutorial from cold and dark to shutdown?
That's bascially what this tutorial is, I just made it in seperate videos so that it's easier to find the information you're looking for.

Same here! It reduces rapidly almost to idle in some scenarios. I only touch my thrust levers sight, so this actually is kind of annoying!
*slightly not sight haha

I have a similar thing, I'm used to my throttle inputs being ignored once toga is pressed as the pmdg does
I love your cockpit camera can you post your .cfg file ?

I haven't found any.
VERY interesting ! 👍

Perhaps joystick interference? Make sure it doesn’t emit any „noise“. Most sticks work fine when fully forward or fully aft.
