The Fog Lamps in the Jetta aren't as easy to replace as you would think. They are not as bad as the replacing the headlamps though. If you have ever had to replace the headlamps you'll know what I mean. Lots of people show that fog lamp replacement is done with removing the bumper. This is not needed as it can be done without removing the bumper.
You cannot remove the access panels on mine without breaking the seal. By far the easiest way I found out is to turn the wheel depending on the side your on and there are 3 torx screws on each side towards the lower front of the wheel well on each side. Remove those bolts and you can pull back the wheel well plastic and the plug and bulb are right inside so just reach in and unplug and replace.
All right Aubrey.... Nice job on going in blind..😂😂👍💪
GOING IN BLIND!!!
I just take them out the front, remove the trim I'm front, 2 screws and the whole assembly come out. Remove and install is 1000 times easer.
Out side of that I love your videos
Is there access panel on both sides
I’ve noticed that some people have issues with the warning light staying on the dash when they use Leds
Is this the same for an MK6 Jetta GLI do the fog light bulbs have to be an H8? Google says that the MK6 GLI 2017 uses H11.
What a joke
