Like most stadiums in Italy, Como need to redevelop their stadium ASAP to match the beauty of its location. 😍
Como once had a not so great record. In 2002, they got promoted in Serie A, but they had a disastrous campaign and got relegated. Then, that relegation was followed by two more in a row, meaning that they ended up in the 4th tier of Italian football just 3 years after being in Serie A
Seems to happen every few years in Italy, most recently with clubs like Crotone and Carpi...
Parma once did the other way around: in three years they went from Serie D to Serie A@@thogro99

There is one stadium in my own country Bulgaria. It's the Chernomorets Byala one and they are 4th divison. The view from the main stand is The Black Sea and all you see is just the blue waters of the sea. It's very beautiful.

It is a really cool location Thogden. The one thing that would make it better would be for the stadium to have a north-south orientation so you could have a dramatic vista of the lake in addition to the mountains.

6:17 I think there's a team that's even further north in Serie B, called Sudtirol. They're located in the Alps
What's even funnier is the club's name itself. Sudtirol is basically a German names rather than the Italian ones.
@@ezraezra2928 Why is it funny? That is a majority German-speaking language area. And it's very similar in Italian anyway, Sud Tirolo. However, the name of the area, Tirol/Tirolo/Tyrol, is not of German origin.

I've done a lap of lake Como (giro d'lario) 140 Kms on a water-ski in just over and hour..back in the 90's

Unfortunately, Rijeka doesnt play on Kantrida anymore,shame,i liked to go there and watch them play Dinamo, Hajduk, Osijek and other, Rujevica is 💩

I love the idea that the most beautiful stadium in Europe (or one of the most beautiful) is in Serie B (Como), while one of the worst (Empoli) is in Serie A. If they get in the same tier, it would be funny to see them go from stadium to stadium

There are some many better and bigger stadiums in the lower leagues like : Bari, Spal, Cesena, Palermo, Sambenedettese, Messina ecc

This was similar to Erick Thohir, who owns the majority stakes of another Italian clubs, Inter Milan, in the past.

Stood just outside it on my visit to Como last year, nice location but the stadium looks massively outdated. The city of Como is incredibly beautiful , be the perfect place to live.

Fun Fact before the current owner, the last owner irresponsibly left Como to the worst state. Luckily Dennis and current owner rebuilt Como from the lowest messy state to currently best state.
I see the Kantrida in Rijeka Croatia is forgoten and so under the radar in europe if this is like most beautiful stadium by its location..
