I found them in 2008 and all I could listen to was the nite versions album on repeat for months. I now have almost EVERY SINGLE radio soulwax performance and almost everything they have done. There is nothing like soulwax and there will never be anything like them again.

Id assume the royalties from the sheer amount of songs they've remixed over the years (including some proper high profile mainstream stuff) is probably what's funded them more than anything, also got to remember most 70s/80s synths were practically worthless during the 90s and early 2000s so even though their studio collection is priceless by todays standards they probably got quite a good deal on a lot of it while they were starting out
I'm glad there's a group out there carrying the torch of Kraftwerk-style electro. They've really both been a big inspiration to me lately (2Manydjs/Soulwax/Radio Soulwax and Kraftwerk,) and it's amazing to have a group which builds on that foundation which Florian, Ralf and the gang laid down.
Went to see them live, it was really cool until he started to sing, had to leave because it was so bothering, every song was wasted every time he started to sing without effects… So sad for a band I used to go see live while they were 2manydjs on set and enjoy
Let's be realistic. It's very difficult to look like a cool, banging musician, when all you're doing is twisting a few knobs and bending your legs a bit. Nice try though. The drummers are doing all the hard work as per usual.

The drums are all tuned slightly different as well. If you listen with headphones you can hear it better. They've mixed the stereo so well.
