Also back then we bought one game and that was it, we HAD to play it there was no way around it
These days you get tons of games for free on Steam and other sizes , I have so many games I never even installed

Another fabulous trip down Playstation Memory Lane, some classics, some games that just weren't for me, and a few I didn't know.
Everything was almost completely new at that time. New game ideas and techniques we found our self going through a new experience all time with ps1

I think I completed playing Metal Gear Solid 11 times, and now when I see the nostalgia and the game again I wish I could do it again.

Played and beat it recently and agree it's a unique and underated game and published by sony themselves

@@alagado666 Yeah certain parts were like the aliens with their strong weapons in later levels were frustrating then there are some puzzles that required me to look on youtube to figure out but all in all it wasn't too hard

I 'wow-ed' when I saw nightmare creatures. I never played it (or knew of it) but gonna download it now for its awesome graphics.
It's amazing how great Syphon Filter looks compared to all these other games. If anything, that game was underrated.

Heart of Darkness was one of the hardest games ever for me as a kid. I don't even think I was able to get past the second screen. I should pick it up again and see if I actually beat it.
No way, we did the same thing!!! And for me it was a little scary back then as a kid so probably that's why I didn't dare to move forward even if I could. And it still looks a little spooky until now.
Anyway, I played it so little that I don't exactly remember if it was this game or "Out of this World" game... These two look similar.

SLED STORM! The best game ever! Good music, dynamic camera, balanced difficulity, sled tuning, secret characters, snow cross and mountain mode, riding in daylight, fog or at night, TRICKS!, POSSIBILLITY TO KILL RABBIT OR SQUIRREL (i don't remeber) AND GAIN EXTRA POINTS :), very playable.
