And I am very angry with all the negative people that had brought Vijay right down because of Beast. If you carefully observe, the interaction between Jagdish (Vijay) and Nisha is the trigger for Vijay getting involved in this investigation. Vijay has come home for a holiday and if Nisha had not taken the bike key he would not have travelled in the bus, which ultimately leads him to getting involved in the case which is the beginning of the story. Even as the romance/comedy tracks are meant to provide some happy distraction for audience in an otherwise serious story, the writer has interwined the romance tracks such that they indirectly contribute to the progress of the actual story line.
