The su47 also had another prototype called the su32 as well both of the Russian aircraft are Also featured on ace combat franchises You gotta make a video about the su32 prototype vs the su47 nearly identical to each other 🕊️ Of ✌️
Nope. S-32, later S-37 (please do not mix the S with the Su in the Sukhoi nomenclature) was the tech demonstrator aircraft program code, which became Su-47 as a valid fighter designation, while each of these namings cover the very same aircraft itself. Simply because after the 1993 december huge budget cut, the MoD refused to support Sukhoi's demand, so the OKB Sukhoi made a strange-but-creative decision: used the firstly built ground test vehicle as a flyable condition test aircraft. And then there was no second prototype in the program. In 1997 december, the actual ground test vehicle made the maiden flight under the name S-32, which later re-designated as S-37, but when the competitor MiG 1.44 also appeared in 1999 december, the Sukhoi HQ decieded to re-name the airplane as a "valid" fighter Su-47, after the famous Su-17, -27, and the single ship Su-37 prpgram, to get more money from the goverment. And to really see, how they did "all in one" by this airplane, the Su-47 was not just a converted to flightworthy product, but they really would like to apply it in every parallel contest. That's why this one and only product also had folding wings and arrestor hook as well!
Vector thrusting made forward Wing design obsolete
Similar to the x29.
Super video! An unusual design. And the origins from the ww2 german technology of course...how intresting...😉
Very interesting but I could only watch it for a minute. Too blurry. My eyes are still watering. My res is set to 1080P for this.
