    Lankeleisi are lowkey becoming an elite e-bike maker. I know they suffer from the "exactly the same as the rest" stigma, but they feel 1000x better than the clones.
    The company themself also listen to the customer. When asked for feedback i told them that the seat felt a bit cheap, and then 2 weeks later they send me a prototype seat which literally never comes off my bikes now😅

      Have you tried setting speed to 50? It's suppose to remove speed limit according to the manual.
      BTW, does the preload on your front fork work please? Mine won't turn without using a spanner, but it does nothing I'm told by the seller to just use the compression control, but the fork will never compress for no more than an inch.

    • @motomachinezuk8786
      @motomachinezuk8786  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's very strong for a 750 and I'm unsure if it is geared. Specs don't mention anything but brushless. Definitely looks like a geared hub.
      It's made me think that too. It's so easy to ride with enough power to give it a little if you wish.

      @@motomachinezuk8786 those Bafang fat tyre motors tend to be geared I think, theres one that chargeriderepeat uses and he goes up mountains with it, he also overdrive it to 2500w, never seen anyone break so much stuff on bikes though. • @motomachinezuk8786
      @motomachinezuk8786  ปีที่แล้ว

      @ash0787 it's just tyre noise I hear ithonk. I'm 99% sure it's geared but no conformation on specs. Very popular and most are that I see, learning for me. That's probably why it's gota capable top speed.

    Hi I’ve just ordered the Lankeleisi MG-740plus. 2000W duel 1000W motors. A good hill climber I’m told. I’ve heard good things about it for the price. Have you had anything to do with this bike and what are your thoughts? Price £1600 from the Uk. You seem impressed with the RV-800plus.

      Hi and personally no I've not had anything to do with them but I've looked at them for same price and they seem very good value for money. Yes plenty of torque compared to a single hub. Very interested in how they ride with dual motor. Must effect steering slightly when pulling hard? I would have 1 for sure

    Why'd you disconnect the throttle and limit the speed? UK law says it must be a 250 watt motor and that's a 1000w, if you're going to break 1, why not break all 3?

    • @introvertialxo
      @introvertialxo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most cops in the UK actually don't give a shit about the motor, but if they see you flying past at 30mph it's a higher chance they might take action.
      If you dc the throttle and pedal at 15.5, they will most probably not bat an eyelid, thinking its just a standard fat tire.
      I keep mine de-restricted and the throttle on and just drop my speed and pedal if I see anyone, but if a chase does happen it's an easy escape😅

    Thinking of buying this or the cyrusher ranger 🤔 £1000 difference in price whats it like on biggish hills and has it got the cadence sensor the cyrusher has the new torque sensor meaning more pressure needs putting on the pedals etc

    • @motomachinezuk8786
      @motomachinezuk8786  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's been very strong on the hills I'm impressed. Unfortunately no torque sensor like the cyrusher. It's difficult choice if budget not an issue. But the saving is massive plus a long warranty.

      If you see a french video the Ranger seems to have a problem of power and seems much weaker than the MG600 it seems you feel the lack of 250Watt. But I think they have all a torque sensor, or I am wrong??
      They wrote POWER SENSOR for the MG600 and the RV800PLus

    • @jimmyallen9927
      @jimmyallen9927 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Caecilius Metellus no the cyrusher has a torque sensor most others have cadence mate dont think any power issue with the ranger as its 52 volt not 48 volt and its got 90 nm of torque which is more than most 1000 watt rear hubs i think

    Can someone help me please? I've just received the same bike. I'm having trouble with the front suspension fork. I've been trying to set the preload knob, but it will not turn without the use of a spanner, but even when I do, it makes no difference. The seller informs me that this control isn't used, and only the compression control needs to be set. Even with this set to minimum, I get hardly any compression whatsoever. I weigh 15 stone and when I sit on the saddle, i get no compression at all. I have to stand over the handlebars and press down to get the forks to compress about half an inch. Can someone please tell me if this is normal for this bike please?

      @@mrtropicalwalsh5114 Ok, I'll try once again with a short comment. The seller has sent me out a new front fork FOC. After I receive and install it, I'll report back with my findings. It's a nice bike for a decent price, with a few dislikes, but no bike is perfect.

    • @kenharvey9714
      @kenharvey9714 ปีที่แล้ว

      I received my new fork the other day and it's just the same as the original one, the preload knob does not turn, and the knob called compression turned for 15 clicks compared to 11 clicks on the first fork. I did fit the new fork to the bike, because I managed to scratch the original one while setting the bike up to make a video to send to the seller when it fell over into a garden chair.
      So, I disassembled the spare fork to see what's inside. The left (so called preload side) contained two springs separated by a plastic spacer of approximately the same length. i couldn't see too much on the compression side but it's obviously meant to control the rebound.
      I took the bike out yesterday for a 25 mile ride. On returning home the fork had not compressed more than about 2.5
      centimeters after traveling along bumpy tow paths, rough ground and quite a few speed humps on the road. I need to add that I weigh over 15 stones.
      This suspension fork is way too stiff and comparing the fork in suspension mode and lock out mode, I could not tell any difference! If the plastic spacer in the fork had been another spring, it would probably have been much better, but the lack of any preload control is a real no no!
      Overall, it's a good bike with a lousy suspension fork and really does need to be replaced with something better.
