Auwsome🎉. I assume u produced that much power either cause u were using alot of power during the day. Or the batteries wasn't fully charged and you were using alot of power at the same. Normally when the powerbanks or battery bank/s are fully charged in the day and the house uses little energy, the panels don't produce as much power no matter how clear the sky is and solar panels exposed to sunlight. My observations of tinkering with solar over a decade. My observations could be wrong tho

Unfortunately in the UK solar Array has to be over panelled

Otherwise It wouldn't make the system viable in the winter. In the summer I tend to extend cycle time to use up power. so 3hr washing machine cycle in the summer 45minutes in the winter. Good way to stop the battery going into float

@@sun-sea-solar I honestly never thought of that factor (UK weather) . Atleast now I learned not to take for granted what I've been to exposed to all my life. I'm from Namibia 🇳🇦. Solar energy is very abundant but in my opinion isn't taken advantage of as much as I would like to. For me the issue for now is to little energy storage. Because the 80watt combined dual solar array produces way much more than i can capture and store in the day. Even my separate diy lithuim ion batteries easily gets filled up. All my gadgets runs on dc power. But i hope you can grow your energy storage to take advantage of days you see alot of solar energy production. The overpanelled setup has served u well at the recording of this video.

@@natenut1694 you would have completely the opposite production of mine. Sun isn't a problem for you. So even half of my system would be perfect for you.

@@sun-sea-solar I agree with you on that. For now at this stage, half your setup would be perfect for me. My ideal setup would be a 40-50kw of energy storage preferbly a lithuim ion phosphate or a soduim ion battery bank @ 48volts with 2 2.5kw solar arrays. My appetite for renewable energy doesn't seem to have a limit. As for how u chose to use the washing machine in summer and winter, that is well thought out. U definitely earned my sub
