I can agree on that, depends the days though, unless you also consider Safin

I do agree, Safin is up there but just at the moment needs more consistency with his fencing and as you guys say experience.
Here's to hoping Race gets a chance to go to Tokyo in 2020.

Safety reason I think. They want less exposure of the back, also covering with non fencing hand getting very picky
It's because turning the shoulders usually involves the back arm getting in the way a bit, whether it's intentional or not. It used to always be illegal, but most people fencing today, myself included, weren't around for that.
One important thing though, Miles's epic backwards behind-the-head touch is still possible since it doesn't require you to switch your shoulders.

line and attack into preparation is a counter attack move?
So.... he is able to do counterattacks and attacks on the preparation, he is able to parry and riposte in two different lines, to flick, to de remises....
Are you trying to tell us he is a fencer ?

If you have a problem with what this young man chose to do, I want you to take a look at southern poverty law list of civil rights Martyrs. There are a great many White ones who were called by their hearts. To go and protest peacefully,what they felt was going on back then. This was during a time that was sort of much worse for people of color, and for those who forgot l,many Irishmen were targets of discrimination too. if you don't believe me about Irishman being targeted, go and look for the list of who wasn't welcome in certain stores. You will see that they are at the bottom of that list. So if you are white and you think you are safe hiding behind a maga hat you are not. This man did what a lot of cowards do not have the courage to do. That is be a patriot.
