I used to wonder why tubers would use the handmade over the fixer, then I started using mine. Then I saw why. The no recoil compared to the fixer was awesome. Fixer is great for vats only. Handmade is great for vats and manual aim.
Fixer accuracy is inferior to a handmade. Fixer is best used in VATS while handmade is more versatile. Try aiming a two shot fixer through a reflex sight and you'll see what I'm talking about. That said, the shattered grounds is just a mediocre handmade (at best) with a unique skin and not much else.
Yeah the server not registering hits at times is a game killer, there's no point collecting scrip, the endless rolling modules saga trying for decent weapons that ultimately do nothing because of the server issue. There's really no point playing. Maybe the game is a victim of its increased popularity but it's really a major problem a lot of the time.

I love the explosive effect because of how it sounds, but I was noticing that it seemed to miss a lot more with grenadier on at level 2 then without any grenadier on at all. Even just on super mutants walking towards me. I kept it off for peace of mind even though I assumed it was just me missing the numbers. Interesting to see that it is indeed a collision check issue with the server. Unfortunate that the crackle sound is not worth the headache of potential issues

The Nuka-Cola Dark build still works for full health to get the crit every other(ish) shot. Does require a bit of perk investment, but as I run pistols (10mm) I find it necessary for bosses. I do love Junkies, and wish they would make it more appealing. I keep trying it but ultimately always wind up back with AA or Quad.
Unique weapons should be that, unique, have characteristics that others don't have, like Ticket to Revenge being double ammo or Anchorage Ace being silenced. This is just like any other mediocre roll handmade.
agreed, they're just afraid to release a gun that will essentially overshadow 3 star handmade rifles you can find/roll which in turn making them obsolete in a sense so they try playing it safe.
Thanks for the review. I’ve also noticed the inefficiency with explosive weapons on beefy enemies especially on full events/servers. I still carry it for my everyday, running around enemies as it is effective on weak, numerous enemies. But i also have my AA,FFR for the beefier enemies at events. Being that the main star is junkies makes it scrip for me overall. Again, appreciate your insight on all of them!
I do not like 25 faster fire rate on a laggy public server...not at all. Pretty much a wasted star in my experience especially if you throw in gun-fu. I can fire off 3-5shots just on the target switch that hit absolutely nothing. On a public server I would rather have 50hits hit chance if I am shooting with any real range or 50 crit damage if right in front of the enemy.
I personaly use a antiarmour explosive handmade, that can shred near anything with 20 rounds. The increased detection sucks, but with full covert scout armour it isn't that great of a deal. The damage thing I personly nether noticed and the explo damage is little as you said. But for hitting multipe enemys it is great.
Server lag with registering hits has been a problem for a while. Think maybe its time for Bethesda to seriously think about cutting max players per server to 20 instead of 24. Its only getting worse.
They need to make ALL named guns a standard 3 stars, and available for reroll to add 3 more stars. They have 6 stars on each gun when you look at them in inventory, why are they only ever 3 stars???
It's shown like that because the first star perk shows as one star the the second star perk shows as two and then the third star perk shows three it's not 6 effects or anything special it just shows which perk is in what order

weightless, explosive 40% AP seems pretty cool for a guaranteed drop. yeah junkies is basically an empty star for me, but for a first 3* handmade the other effects are pretty great.

it can on a really laggy server but its much much less often than in vats, for some reason. Something about high fire rate weapons (or multishot weapons, looking at you gauss shotgun) doesnt play well with server latency and hit registration. Explosive is a lot more useful outside of VATS too because even you miss you will still do some damage, also good for tagging.
Been a junkie in FO76 for 350 levels Junkies explosive stealth commando is definitely fun , it does decent damage at MID game. But you MUST build your build around it. Like being addicted to alcohol , use those perks , be drunk, no negative effect. Same with other addictions, some you just take the penalty for it. There are better options afcourse . (And yes anti armor is still better, but it definitely gets the job done) I personally dislike the aristocrats perk since you can’t spend your caps like you wish, buying a rare plan then will set you back on caps and damage Running a quad explosive fixer now in bloodied stealth build , almost never get detected being bloody . But with the server not registering is something to think about thanks 🙏 for that
Bethesda changed it so if you are under the influence of one of your addictions, you lose that 10% damage though, so there is a negative effect, just worse lol
I had a TSE Minigun drop recently that i was excited to use but it turned out to be completely ineffective in an event. Haven't used it since. I wonder if the server lag was to blame.
Mini gun damage is very weak, probably one of the weakest heavies. Whats so good about a tse mini is that you can tag pretty much every single enemy at an event and get all the xp, just don't expect to kill everything with it

With the new quiver backpack skins out and so many people (including me) picking up the bow because of that, does anyone know what's the best legendary effect to get on a bow? I'm finding Instigating and Bloody are great. Haven't been able to get an anti-armor to compare that yet.
Can’t go wrong with bloodied Anti-armor, or instigating. 50 crit would probably be the most desirable 2nd star. As far as arrows go. I personally think plasma arrows are superior to explosive. Even with the demolition perk
Instigating with vats hit chance is the best, as vats can be very dodgy with bows. Bloodied and 50 crit damage is second best. I’ve stashed all my AA bows because I find they do less damage overall. I tend to use ultracite arrows but otherwise the plasma arrows are superior to all the other options.
@@maxthemagnificat Does the Ultracite actually do more damage? I didn't use it because in the crafting menu it says less than the Plasma, but I know menues can lie to us players.

thats a pretty darn good build, and ya know what turtle, you are pretty damn good at this. I just wanted to say that I have a furiouse cannibal build using that Ticket TO revenege that does 1000 to 8000 per shot. Maybe ya might wanna take a look at that again. Does even more that more perks I stack behind the rifle.
My build works that way because I do stuff like use temorary bloodied with just 1 piece of unyeilding and then using "what rads" perk card. The rubber band effect once you do it a few times for same reason gliches my stats much higher than resitstered. 2 things tend to happen. If i die, it resets, and occasionaly when im hitting for well over 8k a hit my game randomly crashes. Especially if I start messing with item swaps of any kind, Heck Ive had my game crash for junking items flairs, plushies and steinds.
Explosive bullets make junk items scatter around, if you are like me looting everything, explosive legendary guns would probably not be your best friend

Now that I’m playing the game again, I decided to spec my character into semi automatic energy rifles. It seems I picked the wrong build, since everyone and their dog uses Commando to get incredible damage. 💀

I started commando and switched to (Heavy Gunner) energy weapon and feel it’s much more ammo for the buck ;) Kills well, maybe not as fast as a RR but I’m not in a hurry 😂 Just have fun and try builds. It’s easy to swap :)
So theres no point putting the anti armour perk for rifles (sorry i forget the name , but 90%) isnt going to add anymore right ? God i swear i'd be stuffed without you 🤣
hi Turtle, can you test sentinel armor set? From my own testing its broken. when it's not working it seems to bypass all resistances and you'll receive alot more damage. on average my sentinel set performs worst thn my regular non sentinel armor set
you only get the negatives when you are withdrawn/no drugs..its junkies you need a hit!!!! also alcohol i thought was a better choice especial for crits you can go nuka dark

I have a vampires handmade + 25 fire rate -90 weight , it is much better than this , explosive is just jjank and junkies is meh at best , I prefer berserkers over junkies for full health .

I'll probably main this for my free aim commando just because the skin is cool. This game is too easy for me to care about optimizing

For awhile you got ex damage on enemies for every limb it hit, that damage stacked really nice when you used radius perks 😂

They knew what they were doing when they made it weightless. It's a build specific gun that has bad rolls. Either scrip or put on display

The rubber band effect once you do it a few times for same reason gliches my stats much higher than resitstered. 2 things tend to happen. If i die, it resets, and occasionaly when im hitting for well over 8k a hit my game randomly crashes. Especially if I start messing with item swaps of any kind, Heck Ive had my game crash for junking items flairs, plushies and steinds.
Explosive bullets make junk items scatter around, if you are like me looting everything, explosive legendary guns would probably not be your best friend

If you use Chem Resistant 2, you won't get addicted to more than your 5 addictions.

ofc but if you are running uny whats the point of nerfing yourself,giving you minus stats to just use junkies over bloodied?! makes no sense tbh^^ way better options for full health builds to pick from imo
It’s still some minus… Just roll anything like Aristocrat or AA, even Instigating or Furious may be better.
I have bloodied handmade and it's damage lower than this rifle I don't know why. I'm in bloodied build and have no addictions.

Because if they gave everyone a god roll so easily it would stop a lot of people from playing because they don't need to grind anymore. People not grinding hurts the Atom Shop.

Now that I’m playing the game again, I decided to spec my character into semi automatic energy rifles. It seems I picked the wrong build, since everyone and their dog uses Commando to get incredible damage. 💀

Semi auto is great with a quad prime enclave sniper plasma rifle , or slug buster .
Just have fun dot follow meta builds they are bored of the game and the game isn't even hard
I started commando and switched to (Heavy Gunner) energy weapon and feel it’s much more ammo for the buck ;) Kills well, maybe not as fast as a RR but I’m not in a hurry 😂 Just have fun and try builds. It’s easy to swap :)
Once upon a time the drum mag used to hold 80 but then came bethy and now its a dumb mag.

hi Turtle, can you test sentinel armor set?
From my own testing its broken. when it's not working it seems to bypass all resistances and you'll receive alot more damage.
on average my sentinel set performs worst thn my regular non sentinel armor set
you only get the negatives when you are withdrawn/no drugs..its junkies you need a hit!!!! also alcohol i thought was a better choice especial for crits you can go nuka dark
They should let us re-roll all these new weapons they added as they are they are all just script for me at least which is a shame as they look good.
I find the 5.56 ammo to be very very hard to find

I have a vampires handmade + 25 fire rate -90 weight , it is much better than this , explosive is just jjank and junkies is meh at best , I prefer berserkers over junkies for full health .
