Austin Sew-Along Day 2: Choosing a Size & Pattern Adjustments

Join us as we sew the the Austin Dress! The Austin is a semi-fitted sleeveless dress with armhole darts and a keyhole opening at the center front. Customize the Austin with your choice of a knee length A-line or midi-length gathered skirt and add optional patch pockets to carry snacks for you (and your furry friends!). Topstitched seams and button band closures at the side seams add both function and interest.
During this series we'll cover all aspects involved in creating your own Austin Dress. From fabric selection, help fitting and pattern adjustments, to sewing through the pattern step-by-step, we're covering everything! Today we're talking about how to best choose a size and make some common pattern adjustments to the Austin.
