Lidia has a wonderful restaurant here in Kansas City, Lidia's, l always went in Hope that one day, l could meet her, and it happened on a night we were celebrating my friend's birthday. I've never been shy, and there she was, and l was So happy to finally meet a Food/Cook/ hero of mine! And she was just as nice as you see in TV! And her daughter was there also, such a treat for me!!! I told Lidia that we were there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and when our waitress brings a piece of cake, with a candle, suddenly, l feel someone's hand on my shoulder, and it was Lidia! " So, whose birthday are we celebrating tonight, she asks, then says, l hope you have had a Wonderful Birthday, here with us!" She was so kind and thoughtful to do that for my friend, Catherine! And Catherine spoke for Months about how nice Lidia Bastianich was, and how Great the food and wine there. I love Lidia's Tiramisu, and told her so, and when l asked, she gave me Her recipe for it! Such a wonderful person, and l asked about her Mom, "She is doing well, and soon will be 100 years Young!!! May God continue to Bless Lidia and all of her family! Tasty dessert. Would be good too with a scoop of ice cream instead of whipped cream. Brew an equivalent amount of espresso or strong coffee....avoid it in powder/crystal form. As an fyi---I've tried several brands and none of them tasted anything like freshly brewed coffee.
Good heavens. All my baking life I’ve attached the stand mixer paddle first and then had to carefully maneuver the bowl underneath. But you put the paddle in the bowl before you attach it...💡! I do feel like an imbecile 😝. Thanks!
I have seen many professionals struggle with this. Don’t feel too bad. There’s always some new trick to learn. I’ve had many a moment of, “why didn’t i think of that before?!” The road to wisdom is full of baby steps. Just thought of this myself too. 🤔
