Sugar Skull Halloween Makeup

Anyone who knows me knows that I make a big deal about all holidays during the holiday season, kicking off with Halloween! This year is no different, but I figured I'd get started early with a creepy Day of the Dead costume.
El Día de los Muertos aka Day of the Dead is celebrated Nov 1-2, mostly in southern Mexico and Central America. Their ancestors believed their dead ancestors returned every year to eat and drink with the living, so they honored them with festivities.
This look was the return of the dead bride and my face was beat by Veronica of PrettyBeat Beauty Bar. She took special care to focus on the Mexican-inspired look and the final look turned out beautifully! The dress is from my boutique, Coya's Closet.
