I swear to goodness, this song is the saddest in the musical. Knowing how twisted the people's ideas are about Elphaba is actually gut-wrenching to listen to. For such a - supposedly - victorious song, it's undertones are really dark.
Is it just me, or does Sophie's Glinda have a sort of forced happiness in her voice? Intentional or not, it really helps to give Glinda extra depth, and it shows that she might not be as happy as everyone else is about Elphaba's death
When I saw the show, one of my favourite moment was the note at 3:47, I don't know why but I found it beautiful 🤷♀️Sophie is an amazing Glinda, one of the best ! I hope she will come back to Wicked later
I did like sophies voice but have to be honest first time EVER i was actually bored i didnt feel any umph out of her or alice or maybe i went on a tiring night where they just didnt have it in them but yeah

I thought she was quite weak honestly, she was cute and sort of prissy which was a nice change for Glinda but overall I couldn't quite buy into her acting and general style, don't get me wrong though the girl can sing but I found Alice out shined her in nearly every scene together and they didn't gel that well either
I really love this cast I wish they would make a UK sound track with Sophie and Alice

Saw wicked a couple of weeks ago and Sophie was absolutely outstanding! Not only her voice but the acting was fabulous 😍

Have you seen her in Wicked? I don‘t disagree to you regarding this video but when I have seen her on stage it was definitely different!
