Praise God! I don't understand why the entire audience were not on their feet. You can see Brian and the group believe this message whole heartedly! They weren't just singing another song. It is the Gospel!
I talked to Brian a few years back. I suggested that it must be tiring having to always sing this song over and over nearly every concert. He told me he NEVER gets tired of singing it. Wow!
Same could be said about Ernie Haase and Oh What A Saviour or Glen Payne and We Shall See Jesus or many others. You never get tired of singing your signature song.
"while we were yet sinners", not cleaned up or perfect, He died for our sins. I see people who are mean as a snake, and it occurs to me I could never die for that person, but Jesus did. Oh what a Savior!! Thank you Jesus!
An amazing fact is that Brian Free is the most awarded tenor in Southern Gospel Music history. He was saved in 1985-6.. somewhere in that time period. He had the head knowledge as to what a Christian is, but had never received Jesus Christ as his own personal saviour until then. Glad he's a Christian! You can feel God in his music, and it's refreshing that he allows God to use him as a vessel to reach the lost, in order that they can come to Jesus. Brian is a true testimony to the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ!!!
This is the gospel....the entire message of redemption in one song...only ONE....Jesus...and ONLY one...Brian Free....I listen to this every morning...
I talked with a friend who sings Gospel Music, i ask one question àbout Brian. My friend quickly answered: Brian Free is the real deal he is a true Christian and loves people! I love to hear him sing for the Lord
what a beautiful gifted voice...This man sings from his heart with all that He is and has...bless you Brother Jesus shines on you He is well Represented thru yourHeart full of Love thru Our Savior
Brian Free and Assurance is my favorite group. I love their music; It speaks to my soul. This is one of my favorite songs. Just to think that God loved me a depraved sinner so much that He would give His only begotten Son. WOW! Thank you Lord!
One of my fav's! I have often thought of singing this at our church but I am not so sure I could get through the song without breaking down while the Holy Spirit touches my soul!
3:59 gave me Glory Bumps as George Younce would say. You can really tell when a Gospel group is 100% sold out for Christ. Brian you are my Favorite Tenor!
Brian Free is the best tenor I've ever heard and this is the best group Assurance has had in my opinion. Really like the group with this bass singer and this is also my favorite version of this song!
For God So Loved---what a powerful message in song ! I love it as much today as the first time I heard Brian and group sing it in person! I cried then, and my heart is still touched by the powerful lyrics, melody, and most of all the annointing!!lol revlkreedy/beacon of hope/wsyd-NC
They come to my church every November. They've got such amazing talent. I wish Jeremy was still a part of the group. His voice is my absolute favorite. I will say, Brian and Bill are two of the most amazing people to meet in person!
This was my momma's favorite song from you guys. I know she and grandma miss going all over to see you, Brian. My momma has gone home now. The Free family is getting smaller. God bless you you guys always. Kris...daughter of Kathy, granddaughter of Aline Free.
I love this song this I my 4yr old favorite song keep going on for Jesus we are blessed by your obedience to God's callings don't ever stop singing love you all
Praise God my Savior Forever!!! I grew up inspired by Brian and love his voice. He is without question the greatest and purest first tenor ever! So blessed and unique of a voice. I’d love to meet him one day.
I know your comment is a few years old but just FYI he just turned 56.... 3/29/63 I have watched him since his days with Gold City and I was just a tween. Have seen him more times than I can count....grew up same time frame as his oldest son.
@@LetsLaugh2Getha I just saw this comment, coming back to see this video again. I found out that a lady I worked with (just just retired the other week) is very good friends with him and his family. I got to see him and Karen Peck and Joseph Habadank in concert BC (that's what my daughter calls "before covid"). It was wonderful!
My opinion is that Brian Free is the best tenor in southern gospel music.
No doubt about it.
I second that!!
He literally is, lol.
+Randy Magill Totally Agree with that statement! He's been given an amazing talent from God.
I totally agree, 100%
Thank God for this song. At the age of 10, I got saved, My dad thought me how to pray. I love Jesus for my salvation and my new life.
This should be the number one gospel song of all time. Love it. My favorite.
❤
I agree
It is just awesome! You can see Brian getting blessed! I love it.
Praise God! I don't understand why the entire audience were not on their feet. You can see Brian and the group believe this message whole heartedly! They weren't just singing another song. It is the Gospel!

He said during an interview one time that this is his favorite song to sing. It's certainly my favorite as well!
@@arthurbernhardt699 seriously? That was rude! Sounds like you need to spend time in prayer.to get an attitude adjustment!
@@arthurbernhardt699 still doesn't excuse your rudeness!
Such pettiness in the chats. INCREDIBLE.
Same could be said about Ernie Haase and Oh What A Saviour or Glen Payne and We Shall See Jesus or many others. You never get tired of singing your signature song.
I love listening to Brian Free love his voice and he sings with a passion for the Gospel. What a voice he is so gifted by God.❤
Probably the best gospel performance lve ever seen. Brian Free is the best tenor in gospel music bar none. No one else even comes close.

This song is a classic from God himself to us.
Fantastic voices with an extremely uplifting message. Amen!!!
"while we were yet sinners", not cleaned up or perfect, He died for our sins. I see people who are mean as a snake, and it occurs to me I could never die for that person, but Jesus did. Oh what a Savior!! Thank you Jesus!
Imagine how I feel about my Ex who threw me out after 28 years because she “Found Someone on FB and said…”Get out”…
Brian is one of the best "Natural" tenors to ever grace gospel music. Love this group.

David Phelps is better
