Vanya knowing this is her last chance to get her man replies, , ‘okay perfect! I’ll come for 3 weeks! And I’ll rent a place for us to stay in and fall in love!’ And with that, Vanya hangs up with Bozo the Clown to make her reservations and that’s when we are introduced to the lovely couple! From the beginning he has been very dishonest with her about his needs, intentions, and expectations w her. So the fact that he’s pushing her to tell him that she’s serious about him and *then* telling her about his needs for a partner to also be his caretaker is disingenuous, imo. I think he should have been upfront about it from the very beginning instead of telling her he’s super independent for the past two years.

I wish we knew if Vanya invited herself to Croatia or if Bozo invited her? I’m thinking Vanya invited herself to visit FOR THREE WEEKS?! Here’s how I believe the whole thing probably went down!
Scene: We find Vanya, freshly home from belly-dancing, sitting alone holding her phone as if it is a life raft. Vanya seems to be upset as tears mixed w/mascara and face paint, course down her face. We find out that in the last few weeks, the love of her life, her soul mate, her twin flame & hopeful future husband, Bozo the Clown,
has broken up with/her!! And he did it on the eve of her first trip to come meet him in person, finally! As if that wasn’t bad enough, it’s because he wants to give it another run w/ his ex-girlfriend (that slut who was no good for him in Vanya’s opinion!)
It has nearly broken Vanya, that is, until today.
You see, Vanya is crying HAPPY TEARS because Bozo the Clown had just phoned her with the greatest news! His ex has DUMPED HIM! And IF she wants too, she, VANYA can be his girlfriend again!!! She is overjoyed, hence all the tears!
Vanya then gets busy, while she has his full attention, she’s trying to convince him that ‘if they are going to give this a shot, Vanya will come to Croatia and stay with him for a month! This she says, is the only way they can get to know each other. Bozo, freaked out because he still lives with his mommy and if he brought Vanya home, his mom would have them Married in front of the family priest before Vanya has time to drop off her suitcase! So he says , ‘maybe not a whole month, I have to work! (remember she thinks he plays semi-pro basketball!!!) And my place is much too small!
Vanya knowing this is her last chance to get her man replies, , ‘okay perfect! I’ll come for 3 weeks! And I’ll rent a place for us to stay in and fall in love!’ And with that, Vanya hangs up with Bozo the Clown to make her reservations and that’s when we are introduced to the lovely couple! (End Scene.)
