I have been to a lot of live shows and they were absolutely the best out of all of them. I saw them in 2014 at a little music festival in Darrington, WA . A full moon was rising above the mountains that were behind the audience. Ben pointed it out in middle of the set and had everybody howl at the moon. It was honestly one of the best times of my life hahaha.
@collinmc90 do you know how fucking jealous I am of you. the last lord huron tour didn't have any shows near me, the nearest being like 4 hours away, and they were too expensive for my parents to go for it anyway. it has been a dream of mine to see them live for 4 years.
@@ErieRosewood daaang 4 hours is a drive for sure! I bet you will get to see them someday though. save some money get a hotel room make the drive and have an adventure!

Anyone know how long has this one's been kicking around? Guessing it's pre-LD / EP's era? I've seen Ben and the boys 6 times since the Strange Trails tour, and never have gotten to hear this one live before. Great track... hopefully one day we'll get a rarities compilation (vinyl, please) with this one and a few others. 🤞🤞
My guess is ST era actually? I think to me it’s sort of a bridge between ST and VN lyrically and rhythmically. Probably didn’t fit quite on to either since Ben said he never stopped working on it!
I believe this song was from the Post Strange Trails era, a year before the announcement and release of Vide Noir. It's been almost 7 years since this song was teased. Fans have constantly asked him if it'll ever be released, and he's said he's never finished writing the song, and he's constantly changing the lyrics. This is technically the first ever song he never released. He played it once on tour back in 2017, then played a snippet during his Online concert series in 2021, and sang it again at the Red Rocks in 2023. Let's hope it's in this year's album :(
