I'm a f2p player. When I'm trying to rank up in the colosseum and I run into a team containing Witch Doll, I use Shade and try to position him to directly face the Witch Doll. Of course this doesn't work all the time because my opponent would most often than not also have a Lore Weaver, Petite Devi, etc. But it sometimes brings me success if the constellation is in my favour. So out of 10 matches, I might win 3 or 4 times, which is pretty good imo

I have a question. The witch doll -Grove gaurdian combo is able to counter all assassins that jump to witch doll because of witch doll's stats and Grove guardians ability to switch. But what if we use a hero like shade which is an assassin but still not going to jump to witch doll right away. That means Grove Guardian's not going to switch and shade's ability to silence is a big problem for witch doll so will shade be a threat to this combo? It will be great if you could show us a demonstration of this as well.

Hi, what i have experience, shade is big threat, because when shade and rose use abilities then witch doll its 99% down and grove sometines too

Other the that, shade have ability tu dodge, so grove ability may have been pretty useless

Shade is a really good assassin to use in certain scenarios because he is a non-jumping assassin so if he attacks the witch doll the hero protecting it won’t re-target
