There is an app for flower identification. At the beginning of the trail there are guides that you can purchase (1.00 each) for the roaring fork motor nature trail. The guide map shows the information about what is at each of the markers. For example, the names and history of the cabins and hiking trails.
Thank you for going back to the park again!! My favorite place to c you. Love Roaring Fork! Haven't been there in 5 yrs. Good to be there again. Love to u both❤❤❤
❤ I just love y’all!! Watch all your videos more than once. My husband and I were just there for Rod Run and wanted to mention a new restaurant in wears valley that we tried and you should review… Sloppy Hogs!! Burgers were Fantastic!! ❤
Oh my what a historic incredable find wish someone would fix gritz mill up. Just incredable to see it together. Please some on take an interest. Do not improve it just sure it up with new boards so it does not fall apart. Such beautiful history sites. The first gritz site needs some love
Great video Will and Dawn. So good to see you back in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park again. We have been on the Roaring Fork motor nature trail 3 times. It is a beautiful drive especially in the fall. I got a beautiful picture of the mountains in the fall from that same lookout spot. The wildflowers sure ate beautiful. You are absolutely right Will the Smoky mountains is definitely God's country abd you are blessed yo live in the heart of it. God sure is good isn't He. I throughly enjoyed riding along with you both in old yeller. Thanks for taking us all along. God bless you both.
I love taking this driving trail! There are so many interesting and beautiful things to stop and look at. We see bears quite often, and one time, while hiking one of the trails walked up on a huge black bear. He turned, looked at us, and went back to eating! It was so exciting! This is also where we came upon a ranger tagging a small bear right after the fires destroyed so much. He let us take pictures of it. He had tranquilized it. It is beautiful and peaceful back there.
Thank you for taking us along this beautiful drive. I love this motor nature trail. It was closed twice when we went. Finally got to go on it 2 years ago. So peaceful, shady and relaxing. Love the store at the end. Can't wait to go again.
Roaring Fork is our favorite place in Gatlinburg ! When we are there visiting , we go through Roaring Fork at least 5 times before we come home . The last two trips we have been there, we were lucky enough to see Bears !
Back in the mountains…that was a beautiful drive but a little scary for me!!😳😬..and I love the cabins..this was fun thank you Will and Dawn…right now I’m binge watching y’all’s cruise videos…y’all make awesome videos!!!!😊💕
Thanks so much for the trip into the woods! Your camera work is the best with the gorgeous pics of wildflower closeups, rocks, and rushing brooks, the sound of it is amazing. The picture of the dogwood was so so pretty. Springtime there is a sight to behold!
Do you have to pay to go on the motor trail or to park since it's in the national park? It looks beautiful but the motor trail seems to be closed when we usually visit in February.
Every year, we drive RFM TRAIL. Love Ely's! So beautiful in the Fall too. One drive it was foggy, really neat. Gonna do the trail behind Olgle this year. Beautiful flowers 🎉 TY 😊
The Trillium was just beautiful! We have a few dark burgundy ones in our woods, but no other colors. There used to be an elderly woman whose family owned the property where that gift shop and former mill was there at the end of your video. We stopped and talked to her every time we drove the trail. She was fascinating and full of history😊 Great video, but so sad to see what they’ve had to do because people don’t respect the park anymore😢
Once again, you've knocked the ball out of the park! Love this video. No one ever shows all those cabins and I had no clue this drive had so much to offer. Can't wait to see where the next adventure takes us!
It would be awesome if Gatlinburg or the park district would refurbish the old grist mills there's so much history in the smokies. Stay Safe Dawn and Will.👍🇺🇸
Oh I so needed to get out off the house and take a nice long drive in the Smokey's today! How did you two know? We need to be be reminded daily of the beauty that surrounds us away from all the hussels and bussels in life! Hugs from Maumee!
Will and Dawn, thank you for taking me along with you on your beautiful drive! Absolutely beautiful scenery and rivers and beautiful waterfalls! Really enjoyed your video and can't wait till your next vlog. Love y'all!❤️❤️
We went there twice this past week. We saw a big bear at Elys Mill in the fence area. It was super cool. We also saw three cubs in a tree at the beginning. We love Grotto Falls. Rainbow has a lot of steps and it makes it hard for us.
Wow that was lovely guys , those little yellow flowers look very similar to strawberry plants ,same leaves similar flower except the strawberry has a white flower.....might be a wild strawberry....not sure ,but very similar to strawberry here in Ireland.
New subscriber. Found your videos looking for Rod run info. We were up there a week before but we saw people setting up. Just wanted say Love y'all !!!!!. Love the videos
Where was that river or creek that you first stopped at in the video? I know it’s before the road goes one way up the mountain. I’ve driven it so many times but I’ve never stopped and would like to stop at that river. Also if you ever made a 30 minute video of just looking at the water, running over the stones in the river I would watch that all the time lol it’s very soothing
Thanks for the video! We love that trail (we live in Arizona and have been there twice) and I have video of being inside the cabin. It breaks my heart that tourists are destroying it. FYI - we have an app on our phone to help us identify wildflowers! You just open it and scan the flower in person and it will tell you! So fun! There are free apps for that!
Love your vlogs and content. As someone who spends time in the "Park" -- Can you tell that there are any guest experience upgrades done yet with the 10 million $ gained from last years Park it Forward money???
Abrams Falls and Ramsey Cascades are by far the best two falls in the entire park. Mainly because they are more challenging to get to and lesser known. Ramsey is a little challenging at the end as your climbing boulders. Abrams Falls is hands down the most impressive. Massive amounts of water every second. Sounds like Niagara. Avoid Laurel Falls at ALL costs. It is the easiest to get to and also the most popular for tourists. And to be honest, rather lame in my opinion. 🤷🏻♂️
Have you ever been to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains? It is alot like Roaring Ford in Gatlinburg!
Beautiful. Loved seeing the flowers and hearing the sounds of the water. Cheers

Love this trail. Great video. It makes me want to visit again soon. 😊
I can't get over how clear the water is in all the brooks & streams are there in Tennessee!

Looks so pretty! If you only had time to do one trail, would it be Cades or Rosring Fork? With kids?
Cades Cove
It would be awesome if Gatlinburg or the park district would refurbish the old grist mills there's so much history in the smokies. Stay Safe Dawn and Will.👍🇺🇸

Do you carry bear spray with you when you go into the woods exploring?
No, we don't .
I love roaring fork. ❤so sad that people have to carve their names in the cabins 😢
What time of year did you go? I notice the trees aren’t very green…
April
We have went and played in the creek towards the end ever since the kids have been around. We love this little path through the mountain 🙌👏👏
I’ve missed the videos. Thanks for sharing.
More to come!
Thanks for taking me on this ride, ny ANXIETY would never let me do this with a drop off like that. I've done Clingmans but not even Cades Cove.
We went there twice this past week. We saw a big bear at Elys Mill in the fence area. It was super cool. We also saw three cubs in a tree at the beginning. We love Grotto Falls. Rainbow has a lot of steps and it makes it hard for us.

purple Iris? purple crocus?
Those face jugs would 2-3 times as much in town where there’s more tourists. They were worth it
You should organize a group tour! Rent a bus, charge a fee, narrate for us the sights.
Yes, Will is the Best tour guide 😀
What a GREAT IDEA🎉🎉🎉
No way could I do that road, even if my husband was driving.
