you need to tell the devs the need to increase the amount of gems you can collect ! it takes way to much time and effort to get them to level 7 and higher!

The game is the best version of itself to date, without a doubt. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it the best mobile game going, I say yes. Free updates, content, no ads or DLC paywall, and idc what anyone says, you can ABSOLUTELY play this game and have fun without paying a dime. The P2W aspect is completely overblown by so many people OUTSIDE of the game, who don’t even play or quit in the early going. D4 was supposed to kill DI….it didn’t. The opposite seems to be happening. D4 is lagging and DI is soaring right now.
The game is still bs. Only reason I'm playing is bc I payed money and don't want it to go to waste. Have a paid account and a free alt and there's alot of difference even in pve. So no, u might think u are doing good as a F2P but u are getting 💩

You Diablo immortal players feel that the game is in a good spot right now is because Blizzard designed it SOOOOOO BAD that when they improve something you would feel GOOOOOD. It’s like making a cake without icing, when they add a drop of icing you are thrilled and so fcking happy but at the end of the day it is still a cake with a drop of icing-in other words- a garbage.
I got extremely bored and unsatisfied with the direction of D4 (plus I'm a father of 2 and work full time, busy busy) ..so I decided to give Diablo Immortal a shot after never trying it before because of all the backlash on release. I gotta say... I'm 4 days into DI and I am LOVING it. I wish I started sooner. DI is really everything I want in a game. And I'm glad I found your channel, it's helped me a ton.
Great video, Echo! You did an excellent job and thanks for the shoutout. I love the catch up mechanic because otherwise I would never be able to play with you and others. One thing I still have to grind are my gear levels and heli. I have all of my secondary gear maxed and working on getting all of my main pieces to 16. Then the real grind begins! Its good to be back.
I agree. The game is in a good spot. The Brawl is fun. The towers are fun. Heliquary raids is lack luster. They need to convert the Warband system to clan. I have like 10 chest in my bags. I don’t bother turning them in. I don’t borrow equipment. I don’t do much with my Warband due to time.
Yeah that would be good actually, make each clan have a castle that they can upgrade over time but penalised based on member turn over
They should make gauntlet cosmetic for all class since it’s so hard to kill especially for f2p players
I agree with u on the point of the shadows, i just started playing this game around 3 weeks ago, and most coolest thing i found is the shadow assembly hall, whole community gathering for an assembly and blessing each other is so charming 🔥
Agree with pretty much everything you said. My only gripe is the lack of ways to get 1 and 2 star legendary gems for gem power. upgrading the expensive 5 star gems is a nightmare. No real way to grind it unless you are looking at years, which is ridiculous. I'll spend on getting the 5 stars but we need more food/gem power access. It's really quite silly and annoying and puts a lot of people off the game.
Came back after D4, and I’ve been playing since diablo one released so, lol but after immortal, it’s hard to play a game without all the social and alliance aspects. Missed our Alliance in Immortal and all the teamwork.
DI had a rough start, but it really isn't a terrible game. It IS possible to play through without spending a penny.
My only issue with it is that the storyline is too shallow, but that's just a personal issue.
Hi echo. Good video. It's great to hear Scrappy is back. Think he will struggle though. The xp gain is great but comes at a huge cost. Lack of blacksmith upgrades. It's a huge problem for returning players.
Only problem I have is, gems….the gear grind hits a cap at certain paragons..so in my opinion for low or f2p players they need to have a dash more opportunity to be able to level a 1-2 star gems and the ability to not cap your gear combat rating
I was devastated when the 1st time completion Helliquary Gauntlet cosmetics was class bounded to my Blood Knight because I completed Gauntlet on that class. This special cosmetics cannot be bought from the shop nor battlepass shop. It just makes me upset to make it class bound yet unavailable for sale in shop.
You can catch up paragon level wise but 10 months worth of missing warband CR and Gear upgrade CR will be a lot. Essentially you need to be carried in helliquary to unlock new difficulty or you'll be stuck grinding mats.
I started playing last month and I absolutely agree I’m flying through the levels but I had to have a few server paragon players from my dark clan carry me through all the helliquary bosses in one shot back to back up until I unlocked inferno

As a truck driver I love this game. My Asus ROG Phone 6 runs it at max settings & it looks great. I've never spent any money & I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

Hoping for new cosmetic event for freeeee someday. Also the legendary drops whenever you're on 800+ it's kinda hard to earn everything for a new class whenever you change class I hope they fix it.
I come from Diablo 4,didnt have time to grind it,Since Battle royal is introduced me and my friends went to play the game,we enjoy it as f2p players it is fun to pvp without resonance,game would be way better if they give us pvp without resonance even whales would enjoy it since they play game alot and beside money they got skills also.Legendary crest per month should be at least 50 of them for free and drop rate bit better,keep up greaat job!
100% agree with the vid. I'd say my only complaint is still the one since day 1, remove the fading embers cap, give us heavy grinders a chance to raise reso in a grindy fashion, considering this is a grindy game lol.
I'm just stuck in terms of Gem Resonance (currently at 600+) played in total of just about 4 months. I'm level 877, just hit CR 19000. I'm a casual and solo player, Its definitely a good mobile game. Hoping I get lucky and get the 1k gem wings soon. I almost forgot the only thing I hate in the game is warbands, I can never get into a good warband I play in south east Asia. And I'm the only one that plays DI in my friend group. Wish I can get atleast a one legendary crest per week without a frickin warband.
My advice is to start your own wb with ppl who are on @ times as you. Started one and it filled up with great ppl inside of a week.
Start you own wb and in raid day type on chat : all raids i1 with wb for ticket +3. Add 3 people to wb and quee for rest of 4. Problem solved.
My personal downside to the Market is I do not understand why in the world the game needs to take a stake in what we earn from our sales. It just doesn't make sense to me.
I just started playing last month and am absolutely loving it…I love not being restricted to my computer or couch…I switched over from D4 cause it got stale at the higher levels and seasons are in a shitty place….im a low spender just battle pass and prodigy’s path for the crests and I wish I started playing immortal last year when it came out but I got turned off by all the negative P2W comments and I regret that now…just don’t play battlegrounds and P2W then means nothing…I agree that wild brawl is so much fun and I really hope they include it permanently in the game

As a Dad of 3 I only have time to play games on my phone and DI allows me to do that!
Very important thing, you can take time off and come back with a huge xp boost, which allows you to catch up level wise. But there’s no catch up with your cr, it’s still much lower than people your level.

I Play A Week In My New Acc And Right Now I level 885
I tend to claim my battle pass rewards at the end of the battle pass month... There may be like 28 or 30 days per battle pass...i claim on the last day, staking up all of the rewards... Each day i complete the sanctum (Legacy of the Horadrim), then bounties, contracts, side quests, elder rifts, Helliquary, then 5 runs on Temple of Namari because it is the shortest dungeon, then after all of that i just go fishing and fish up to atleast 10 per day....

I left UNDECEMBER and came back to try out the BK on new server starting from scratch last Monday.. well Paragon 216 now 🤣
If the shadows just let the reigning immortals be,the buffs from everyones shadow bonuses would probably exceed 5* legendary gems

I am F2P player i start Dl since 2 september-10 november 2023,now my paragon is 1021 CR 22751 i admit i'm tired for increase my CR, One reason to make me play this game because no auto and i have a good clan and warband they help me a lot when i need them halp.

Well there was 34 people watchinf DI content on Twitch - dated 21.11.23, so as far as I am not into mainstream content only, but there is trend to be noticed.
I’m frustrated that I’m nowhere near 20,900 CR and yet all my gear is near or at 1145/1245. I’m a somewhat solitary player and I feel like I’m severely punished for that.

It is why I understanding that the gems do matter so whales do have an advantage in the wild brawl game mode as well.

I love Immortal! I will switch back to D3 with the new season for a bit but honestly i havent spent a dime and having such a good time!
Two things you didn’t spend time on were Warband activities and the Helliquary.
Diablo immortal state of the game as a mobile game considering the fact that if people lose their signal and they lose the game then if you're in a raid and then you have a chest that requires for people to open it then all of a sudden you can't open the stupid chest and Diablo should figure out a way to get be able to have people open these chests with that when people drop from the game like that it's just ridiculous

When I quit I think the highest difficulty was h3 or h4 i just came back 14 days ago exactly and I'm 888 inf1 trying to get to 900.

Agree with so many things you said here. Game is in a good spot right now. It's healthy in many ways with always new improvements. It's fun to put progress into our characters! I have D4 also, but I end up playing DI more (D4 feels more lonely, I never ever see another player). Brawl is awesome and addictive, I love it. The biggest issue is that the game is unappealing to new players: there are things like normal gems, Iben, tableau and helliquary that impossible to catch up. There will always be players leaving the game, that's natural; but if you can't have new incoming players or you're punished for taking time off ... then the game population is in peril.
I agree on the immortals it was a bit less boring and dailys. The shadows is or feels like it. Has more

If blizz ever patches in 8 gems that were to make bsj etc invalif would be the end of the game. Even the 9.9k whales on my server said they wont be doing any more gems if they add, more likely to sell their accs and move on.
Amount of 5-7k accs been sold off on my server due to gems being made less repevant etc is insane.
Blizz will kill this game with additions such as these, and thats a fact. When the big spenders leave, the game dies, so they best keep em happy.

And as a returning player you get some nice boosts to help you level up faster. I'm definitely glad I hopped onto ur channel. Will have to watch more of ur content. Keep up the great work!!
I detest the new paragon system and 1% XP. If a player such as yourself who has always been lagging far behind me in paragon level is now essentially the same paragon as a grinder such as myself who has always been at 10% or 20% XP (12 paragon levels above server level), there's a problem IMO. This is welfare system along with participation trophy mentality combined with demeriting/penalising meritorious gamers. Not really a game honestly, just a handout.
Different types of competition means different things to different players, as well as different strategies to be more competitive. Blizz kicked every loyal hard core grinder in the gut with this change. I don't at all recommend DI to my fellow gamers from other truly grinding games.
In fact, there is now almost zero incentive for me to log in to Diablo Immortal beyond my dailies and helping my clan. Im done wuth my dust farm, and we still have 200 more paragon to go before blBluzz need add anything new to the game. A 2-year old child could grind this game, it's become so ridiculous.
Instead, why not just get rid of XP altogether, and raise our paragon 10 levels every week whether we did anything in game or not? It's about the same.
Being so many paragon levels ahead used to give a moderate spending grinder such as myself a slight pvp advantage, not to mention some sort of reward by being more competitive in pvp. That has been reduced to zero post XP nerf.
All these players who fish to paragon 800 in a day or are casual/don't really grind, and do not/cannot have the dust to rank their gear and play competitively in Inferno. Last week was stupid with cr 17K players with as low as rank 6 gear looking for carries in Inferno 1. Great, we have a bunch of weak noob players always expecting day one players to hump them thru inferno (and the next difficulties undoubtedly) because they do not grind and will never rank their gear being they are struggling with ranks under 10 or 15.
To say it sucks the joy out dungeon PUGs is an understatement. I carried quite literally hundreds of players last week, to the point I wanted to either quit or throw my device, or maybe both. 😂😂😂
Now these same welfare players are demanding more handouts in the form of free/cheap dust so they can rank their gear, bcz paragon level/1800% XP is not enough. They need CR. Many don't Warband or don't do so seriously, so between ridiculously low gear rank and no WB, they are missing thousands in CR, and flop over dead in Inferno dungeons, like dead flies.
More players, yeah. Great! More Hell 4 players leeching in Inferno? It sucks!
The old system of having to clear specific solo challenge rifts was so much of a batter gatekeeper to higher difficulties than ill-equipped lowbie/newbie players hopping in on every request in WC for a Phang 8 body, CR doesn't matter.
Yes we need new blood, but why should I or anyone be humping all these low level players thru dungeons they don't even belong in? The entitlement is truly of staggering millennial proportions! These are players not from my clan, not from my WB, players who are not even from my server. For what? An extra chest. This is why whales solo dungeons, bcz they get fed up of being treated like donkeys.
Had I known this game was going to be slacker central and casual to a fault with zero advantages at all for being a grinder, I would never have started playing it! I mean, I knew it was p2w, but it started out with various grinder benefits parrticularly XP/paragon, but Blizzard shut down the xp/paragon advantage one year into the game. And that really sucked. Still sucks. All while coddling the casual h4-h6 player population.
Finally, as for cell games not being for grinders, you're quite wrong. There are many designed for grinding, not all mobile games are Candy Crush.
Oh, really finally, DI is not just for dads. There are moms who play, and those who don't have kids but have careers or other hobbies. Please stop with the exclusively male thing, it's not really very inclusive. I cringe when I hear that. 😏😏😏
Cheers. State of the game may or may not be good. Many of the more hardcore players feel it has made a wrong turn recently. I suppose it will remain fir years to come, and because I spent my money and time and made friends, I probably will be here too. But DI has taught me a hard lesson about making sure a game truly fits your gaming philosophy and gaming style before you deep dive into it. I could NEVER have imagined they would nerf XP in DI to the point of pointlessness, but there you have it.
Diablo immortal is thriving brother. oh it is :P It would probably do service to the community too if u have some tips for work arounds on being an immortal. You see, we just became an immortal and a whole lot of us are just newbies and we don't really freaking know what to do since it's a lot tasking that we previously anticipated. any help u could brother would be very much appreciated and I always recommend ur channel to my unbeliever friends in the game if you know what I mean. :) So if you could help that could probably change their minds big time.

Hi echo, nice review and love your video. This is my though of the games so far. Well the catch up is good in terms of PARAGON level however the drops will be bad meaning that he/she wont have the CR that they need to play on their paragon level (bad) As for Brawl is refreshing and hope it will become part of the DI forever. As for market depend on which server then you will be OK/NOT OK.
As for game play for us who are reaching INF2 is kind of boring since we have to grind like crazy and get nothing since Blizzard seems to cap all the drop 1257 green and 1257 orange. This way if you are F2P you can only go 21K? However to play INF2 Raid you required something like 23K? Again not sure. I just got my PARAGON 900 and already have all my gear max out.
D4 bad review I believe also kick back to DI as many are now selling their account. I hope this is not keep up else we might lose the player/whale.
Furthermore for us F2P there are in no way to become an Immortal which is sad since the server dominated by all the whale clans. So unless we join them (which is no way they will accept F2P) or just enjoy Shadow.
Anyway just my though as this time.

I am a new player 3 months in, and even with max gear in inferno 2, I am still 500-600 Combat rating behind on dungeon CR due to missing heliquary and warband stuff. you need time to upgrade you equipment! if you dont farm you never gonna catch up, your main gear should be around level 20 atleast
Game is very p2w to have fun in the game as a free to play player the only thing you have is playing campaign or doing stuff with a group. The game tries its hardest to get you to spend money, this is the first mobile game in which if you spend a 1000 dollars, you are still considered a low spender. Idk why people keep feeding into blizzards”s immoral monetary system. I’m not sure you have played since launch with that outlook. You can spend nothing and enjoy so much in this game

you can catch up on paragon levels fast but CR from warband, gear and Helq not as easy to catch up on
In respect to BG what about a tier system based on resonance? So like 1000 and below only 1000-2000 etc etc. Or even increments of 500? There is potential in BG but a lot of people myself included go nowhere near it. Because let's face it getting 1 bombed in every fight becomes tiresome for the most patient of person.
Re- Cross server ability. Will Blizzard make it world wide cross server or regional is to stay?

The game is going to see a massive exodus of new players because of not being able to get the CR to be viable and survive in Inferno .
So many above level 900 that do not and can not get the CR to survive and be viable.

Completely agree with the dad comments lol. Also means I can sit with the Mrs in the evening and put a film on and grind DI on my phone. That way I don't get comments that I'm sitting in another room on my pc/PS all evening!

I enjoy DI but have been playing more of D4 of late. I know it's obvious, but if DI had no pay 2 win it would be the best diablo game imo. Problem is that even if we get 100 free gems per month, so will the whale, on top of the 1000 gems they will also buy. It is in it's best state its ever been, thats for sure.
One thing is for sure. I can't wait for POE mobile.

As to why people stopped playing D4 and came back to DI, you kept insisting on the mobile game aspect. But that's not the case.
There are many players who play DI on PC **only**, including me, and were are not interested in D4 - not because it's a PC game, but because we find it boring and devoid of interactions with human players.
What i would love to see, and that i really liked when levelling up.
The 1 person scaling dungeon for a solo dungeon run. (Sadly stops when reaching inferno)
Blizzard, Give us the option to run them solo.

this game will never be in a good spot until they give away free leg crests or telluric pearls way more, daily log in rewards are joke, 300 plat daily income is a joke, people dont realize but once they do one more merger the average res will be around 4-5k or something, all the f2p and low spenders will be swallowed, my clan had 80 active players in wars before d4 now its disbanded and we joined another big clan, i dont care about free mods, pvp or anything, just give me more free stuff, events should be permanent and in a rotation, and i should get extra 2-3 leg crests and pearls weekly, sometimes you dont even see an event for weeks
Well the state of the game... Its more or less like: it is what it is.. but now its not gonna be a grind because ppl will now wait around till para 950 since that Paragon gives the highest cr for inferno 2..
And apart from that inferno 3 will require about 3k reso for the future of inferno 3.. like with raids and gauntlet requires more than the cr gain free to play players get.. so the future state of the game after 2 more months will make the game less casual and more random on off game for free to play players.. more or less solo style for them

Grinding my nuts off. Got my 3k+ wings. Took a pretty penny, won't lie, but now i'm focused on dust+scraps+Inferno 2. Not excusing what they did with CR/SCORE, you know why they did what they did... That said, meanwhile my still lvl 47 barbie in D4 is catching dust lmao.
I like the game except pvp which is heavily pay to win and hiw hard is to upgrade gems.I had to burn three times 5star pvp gems to lvl up my pve gems.
