I've been watching different tutorials and I'm noticing that everyone makes them in the same style you have here.This is a idea for you to possibly try, it would be personally helpful to me also so I figure other people might benefit from it also. Show what you're about to teach in actionable action first, a working example. Then, walk through the building process. Just a thought.

@@StephenGPope Fair enough, but I don't have a team. The title tricks me into watching a 20 minute video explaining how to do something that's irrelevant to me. I suppose it brings in more views than a more descriptive title. Unfortunately I do realize it's a result of what TH-cam rewards. The question is how would I know which one of your videos that are titled "Automate 99% of your content workflow" would be relevant to me. Perhaps 1 out 10, perhaps 2 or 3.

Can yo use make instead of Zapier. Also have you experimented with 2-way data sync tools for publishing like whalesync?
you can use make.com for sure -- I'm using it more and more but there are some things make.com isn't as good at. I havent used whalesync but it looks interesting, maybe for a future project!
WHAT IF YOU'RE THROWING MORE THAN 1 PIECE OF RAW FOOTAGE INTO YOUR INBOX?
I have an events company and my team will throw sometimes 50+ pieces of raw footage from an event into a Google Drive folder.
In your example, you're only adding 1 piece of raw footage and I wonder whether you'd change anything to your workflow if you were throwing 50+ pieces of raw footage into your inbox.

Could this not be done by using Google sheets instead? Is the big difference the feature where you can move rows to different sheets based on their values?

how long does it takes to move the file from
imbox to proceed? are there any time settings?
it depends on what plan you have on Zapier, 1-2 minutes if you have their premium plan, can be as long as 15 minutes. I use frame.io as a new inobx now and that is instant.
Any suggestions on how to bunch multiple videos from a single project together? This set up works best for a single file at a time but I don't want a new folder for each individual video.
there are some strategic reasons why I do that (because you might also have copy or an image that is associated with the video) but if you don't want a folder just don't create the folder = ) You should join my community academy.sgplabs.com we're tackling these issues every day. after uploading my test video #2, it doesn't come up in my Airtable :( for some reason it doesn't like a new file being throw in. i tried the original test video #1 file for a second time and it made a new content ID for it and new folder in Google Drive. any help would be greatly appreciate sir. appreciate you nonetheless
it's likely because the #2 file was created on your computer over 4 days ago. For some reason the Zap only triggers one files that were created within the last 4 days.
Looks so cool but also a lot of work
it pays off when you're creating, producing, and distributing a lot of content. If not it's more work than you need.
I dont get the options to update the other fields

I found an inconsistencies. Not every file I uploaded in inbox folder transferred automatically to desired folder.
there is a bug in Zapier that only processes videos that have a created date on your computer within 4 days

@@SaadKingsta you must upload videos with a created date < 4 days, no way around it unfortunately. practically this rarely happens on the day to day if you upload videos as they are created.
