alll the bases in my airtable wont come up in make as an option to choose from. do both make and airtable have to be on the same google account or something?
Great video, very informative. Would the webhook method work in a real world scenario with someone manually putting data in the row across several columns? It seems the scenario would run before you had a chance to fill in the rest of the row data. Curious about that part.
Thank you, very interesting!! But when creating a new raw with the webhook method, do you have time to enter data into the fields raw before it triggers the webhook thru the script ? Or the script is waiting for you to fill all the fields before triggering? Thank you. i often use a button to trigger the webhook instead of a script...
great question!!! in those cases you probably want to trigger of when a record enters a view that has filters to only show rows that are not empty, and trigger off that instead of purely a new row.
@StephenGPope Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. Maybe someone from the local community can help me? I have connected Airtable as mentioned in the instructions, followed by Claude module which generates text and sends it to the same table. When the script is executed, the text generated by the Claude module is placed in different columns of theAirtable table. The text is placed in the correct columns as the script stipulates, but it is placed in different rows. Could it be because the table has a Created Time column and therefore the text is distributed depending on the time? How can I make it so that when the script is executed, all the text generated by the modules is placed in one row of the table?
just signed up for the content academy and waiting to get in group to use automation templates for airtable and make. But I saw that you used zapier to connect airtable. Is that the old way to do it? Would you recommend make instead now?
i cheated a bit and used the Airtable automation to send to Slack instead of Script. Then in Make you can start with instant trigger for Slack. The Airtable automation just sends a "New SOW in Airtable with ID:[airtable id]" and then Slack instant trigger sees the new msg in a specific channel --> Make Filter on looking for the slack message to avoid null --> then you can basically start from the Airtable first module as in this video. hope this makes sense. working for me :)

Great video I learned a lot I love how you don't skip steps and how you explain everything excellent
🙏
Thanks Stephen, interesting and informative, as usual.
good to hear, the video didn't go exactly as planned so glad it was helpful!
I didn't know about the "created time" for the Airtable Watch Records module in Make - very helpful - thanks!
💪
That was absolutely helpful! Thanks a million
Great explainer! Thank you, sir. 😘

Change the filter and trigger so it triggers when they are done
Great video Stephen, when I’m doing my Oarth connection the tab isn’t popping up. Any tips?
it's probably hidden behind other windows, it's a popup.

Zapier and make can both connect to Airtable, they both work differently.
Zapier and Make can both connect to Airtable.
Correct me if I’m wrong but can’t you avoid the “scheduled run” by simply selecting the “On demand” run scenario? Or am I missing something
you could if you want to pay for those operations everyday. you pay for every ondemand operation.
anyone know what app he's using to record this video ? do we love or hate the pink arrow that generates before each click ?
11:59 how do we get 3600 operation here? running once every minutes in 1 day ?
Run Script work in Team Plan. Not free
Sorry 😞
