I honestly think adding bug catching to Minecraft would be a really fun way to spend time. Unique bugs for every biome sounds cool, and it would definitely work better than critter catching in Terraria since the world is bigger and there are more biomes. Imagine being able to put them in bottles, or even craft glass containers for them. I'd love to have my own bug museum
Stealth mechanics in Minecraft in general would be great. Currently mobs can detect you as long as you’re in range, but imagine if a zombie wouldn’t attack you as long as you stay behind it’s back…
Stealth already exists, but it’s very underused. An invisibility potion provides the greatest boost to stealth, though that boost decreases the more armor you wear. Sneaking also increases stealth a bit. And wearing mob heads increases your stealth with that particular mob. But yeah, imagine if you could make a weapon from materials from destroying a creaking heart without silk touch, which normally dealt the same damage as a wooden sword, but dealt triple damage if you hit an enemy that’s looking away from you, and also increases stealth when held.
This is why I love Wardens, they really should extend stealth elements in the game more. Invisibility is impractical and not really worth the trouble because of how mobs work, for the most part, sneaking barely changes anything, and sound doesn’t really do anything outside of deep dark. Night might be a lot more fun if you could maneuver yourself to be unseen around mobs instead of just fighting or running past them faster than they can hit you.
1:50 maybe the scent can confuse the warden (as it can still smell you if you don’t move) and make so that you have less priority on the warden’s attack list
Maybe at the max level, it would actually deter the Warden, making it so it would run from you as long as you are COMPLETELY still. But if you move your camera or even open/close your inventory, the effect no longer would deter the Warden.
@@deadman9335 I was mostly joking, but it would be interesting if the Creakit is the thing _inside_ the Creaking heart, so not only would you need to break it, but you would also have to chase it down and kill it (otherwise it would inhabit a different log and make a new heart).
Most of those ideas don't feel appropriate for vanilla (although it makes sense in the context of your previous concepts) , but the stickbug itself and the stealth enchantment it could provide when tamed I could see being added.
Most of what mojang ads doesn't feel appropriate for vanilla too, but if it's in the game people warm up to it. + nobody actually can say what vanilla is
I would have to agree, there are just so many systems he proposed, and you saw how people reacted when they made easy mode slightly easier. Something this scale would need to take multiple updates
They should just make the creaking close it's eyes when a player's looking at it(and also fireflies) Also the stick bug helmet kinda thing is just the mob head effect but for all mods isn't it
I started watching this guy since his first video and thought his concepts were so vanilla and well thought to the main style of the game and Minecraft would literally be so much more interesting with this guy

I had thought of a weapon crafted with materials from breaking a creaking heart without silk touch, which normally deals the damage of a wooden sword, but deals triple damage when striking an enemy that’s looking away from you, and also increases stealth when held.
It feels plenty vanilla to me. Seems like exactly the kind of whacky fantasy thing Mojang would. A security camera system using a bug on a helmet and tree people sounds awesome.
@@Alex-nt4gl ...Really? "the kind of whacky fantasy thing Mojang would?" What do you think is the current wackyest thing in the game? I'd say... maaaybe the appearance of the ravagers. Nothing in vanilla is anywhere NEAR as wacky as this is.

Yea, but unfortunately, now that he's posted it it will never get added to the game in any way. Mojang hates adding content that they themselves didn't come up with unless it's obvious enough to get thousands of upvotes on their suggestion tracker.
I’d love a collectible bug that provides passive effects! I think if they took environmental damage alongside you it could affect your risk tolerance as a player. Maybe if they had their own exclusive food they’d need to eat in order to maintain their effect that could create a fun side game loop to automate. Furthermore, maybe a pet bug has loyalty, the more time you keep it with you at full health it increases the buff and the efficiency of the food required to maintain the effect.
Adding more mobs like these(Itty bitty lizards and snakes scuttling about in jungles for example) would give the game back some of that life it lost a while ago

You can launch it at a player or mob and it will deal a lot of damage to them , but it takes a while to drag back. It’s kinda like that mace weapon that piglin has in Minecraft legends
I feel like it'd also have an achievement, like with the ghast. It could be called "A Stick? A Bug?" and you'd get it by looking at the stickbug through a spyglass :D
The thing with this ideas like these is that once someone have expressed them Mojang is not able to use them directly, because they would be risking legal action. But they sound quite fun and would be perfect for a mod.

i would love to see a video in your style dedicated to ideas for improving an iron golem's ability to defend a village from raids of zombies and illagers. And maybe even players.
I have been planning a mod for this biome to expand the scope. I really like how you also have the idea to connect the trees together so that they are more than just trees.
Creaking nervous system? Have you ever heard of the tree, Pando? Its an entire forest that is all just one humongous tree with roots coming out of the ground. What if, the pale garden was just 1 huge interconnected tree with roots like the mangrove trees, and the creaking heart at the middle?
the Stick Bug would be cool but it's just an unreliable Potion of Invisibility the Creaking Nervous System is also pretty pointless since Creakings despawn during the day and even if they didn't it has no real use case, other than looking at a mob farn
I kinda wish that the Creaking would only despawn when it gets too bright, like how most undead catch on fire, instead of despawning when it becomes daytime.
Stick Bug is easier to obtain than Potion of Invisibility, so of course it should be worse. Should we not have gold tools because they are just worse than iron?
Invisibility already isn't that useful unless you are playing with other players, the Stickbug needs you to stay still to only trick Mobs it also debatably the same about of effort to get a Spyglass as a Potion of Invisibility
Nah what about those 4 legged stick looking spiders? They're stationary in the pale moss vines and can only be seen with a spyglass. Walking into them they attack you
Imagine if you could walk side to side to find stick bugs easier, as an easter egg to the fact that they move with wind and synchronize the movement with the tree, thinking the shaking object in front of them is the tree it is on
I would have just melted that bug down and turned him into a potion of stillness. Standing still would cause the player to begin camouflaging to their background, the more you move, the more visible you become, and this would last for several minutes.
Ok the security system feels a bit out there but is super cool however the stick bug honestly fits very well with vanilla plain garden and would be interesting to see
