Do you still have a bit of an underbite after the braces? Also, I have kind of the same problem as most braces wearers. My lips and lower face just looks kind of sunken with less projection. My lips look a lot thinner as well, especially upper lip.
Idk what yalls cases but i have bimaxillary protrusion one of my surgeons adviced me to not to wear braces for bimaxillary protrusion unless it is a big problem because it can make the face sunken especially the lip area. That it can make the face very narrow and can give an old look. And all my cheek lines can change. He said only option is the surgery but then again it is risky as well.

Of course:) and yes I do feel like i have room for my tongue. I dont feel a difference. i got my wisdom teeth taken out when i was young. I do not have any chewing problems. I dont think that chewing problem would happen as the bite would be corrected with braces. Unless you are referring to TMJ issues, then i have a bit pain on the cheeks when I chew or talk for awhile. But that is an issue that I have before i had my second set of braces.

Hey! I just saw your videos and am in the same situation as you right now. I was wondering, did the black triangle disappear?
They do not disappear as the gums have receded. Once the gums recede, it does not go back up.

I don't have an underbite. I have an overbite. With an underbite, the face does tend to look sunken.
