I absolutely love this style of video, it was a delightful mix of a video essay and Let’s play, i guess Video game journal is a more appropriate description. i haven’t seen many videos in that kind of style, and i wish there’s more to come, i felt like a friend telling be about a game rather then a video game history type of video, and it so refreshing and cozy, i’m glade youtube recommended this video and i hope i see more of this, even if it’s with other games or media
This was the affirmation I needed to hear. I showed a few friends this video prior to releasing it and a handful felt that it was *too casual* or conversational to be a good long-form format. Like it had to be either a video essay or a lets play. Thanks for making my week. :) Part 2 is in the works!!
My favorite childhood game is Dark Cloud 2. I am not a critic and not very good with my words, but the gameplay loop of Dark Cloud and its sequel has some of my favorite gaming memories attached to them.
This was lovely. Until watching this video I didn't realize how much I really enjoyed playing this game with my sib. It's been over a decade since I last played this game but every single piece of game play you showed I remembered vividly. Please continue this
When I was 7/8 my grandparents bought me and my brothers a PS2, our first ever game console. We had CTR (for PS1) and a demo disk that Dark Cloud was one of four games on I think... My brother played the demo content to exhaustion at least once a week for a few months until we got games for our respective birthdays and branched out. This is a very weird nostalgia for me! Really look forward to part two!
Serving up more asap! Part 2 is actually already in the works. And oh no, Bumbuku and Kululu being siblings makes my presentation of that scene so much worse. lmao
@@FreshWaterFern I just checked on the wiki and I can confirm they are brother and sister also to add to the akwardness apparently Kululu is of an age were bedwetting is normal (which is why Bumbuku want the house near the river) honestly I'm suprised of this last thing as well (I think possibly it was lost in translation in the language I played Dark Cloud in), anyways I'm happy to know part 2 is in the making Queens (which guessing from the pace of part 1 should be in the video) was my favorite city
@@roccopecori8446 Oh gosh and they are underage. Oh noooo T_T Queens will be introduced in part 2 for sure! It's also my favorite city. I love the music and the vibes there in general. Especially after the forest it's so refreshing.

This video has the best introduction on TH-cam
This is such a well made video. I love your voice!!
I loved this, such a cute game. The commentary had just the right mix of review, exposition, and humour. 🥰

I'll be as clear as I possibly be: more
(Also p.s. dunno if I remember wrongly but I think Bumbuku and Kululu are brother and sister actually)
