Am I going crazy, or is the sound quality for Oli quite often very bad? Not just this episode, but episodes in the past as well. I think it's probably because he speaks to his side rather than into the mic. Pls fix A/V people!

Cricket in Norway will be due to the pretty decently sized Pakistani (and possibly Indian as well) expat community there. The name on the jersey is pronounced h-z-air (kinda like "huzzah!" but without the flair or pizazz)

It was never going to be a game of rugby flair from NZ when they are playing SA. The defence is too solid - they have no space to run. NZ can only play that way against a lesser team.

Hasn't Farage described Johnson's Brexit deal as the greatest betrayal in British history or some other such hyperbolic bovine scatology? Not sure I could see them putting egos aside and coexisting to be honest.
That depends how much moneys involved, have to get your priorities right and Im sure two ex private schoolboys could agree for the right price.
I tried real hard to pay attention during the sport talk. In the past, I have managed to pay attention to a squad of dentists discussing work and was even able to find something of interest. But every couple of seconds I found myself drifting off into some unknowable brainspace only to resurface forlorn, wistfully remembering Ava, wanting to hear another story from the Major/Curry-verse (which reminds me, it's almost currywurst season). Apart from that, an excellent episode, lads, and despite my drifting attention, some of the sport-adjacent stuff was genuinely interesting.

I sorta get the analogy for RSA being so very good at Rugby and Cricket but that belongs to a bygone decade whilst their country falls apart they cling to a specific ideal that clearly didn't work? I just hope they can sort shit out, much as all nations who have division as a central core, Sport really changes fook all, sorry for being a killjoy, loved the cast!
Rugby joins us as a nation and that camaraderie and love helps us stand up against all the pain, poverty and chaos the government is causing. It helps us stand together and look out for each other when no one else will. Without civil society in South Africa, we would’ve gone under a long time ago.
