This was an inspiring experience that you photographed. Thank you for your foresight to do such a good job - one almost feels like they were present with quilts waving, birds singing, insects humming, smells of the vendors, and the delighted expressions of contesters and viewers.
Oh, I really enjoyed that trip to Oregon. What a pretty town Sisters is and so much talent on display. I had to stop and pause to appreciate them. The quilts are fascinating - it just goes to show that anything goes as far as themes, colour, designs, stitching are concerned. I loved The Beatles Quilt, but must admit to a bias. Check out the Road to California show at the Ontario Convention Center. It’s held annually in mid-January. The show is great, there are classes all week and vendors from all over the world!
I drove through the town last month for the first time ever and saw the sign about the quilt show. I was so disappointed that we were in the area at the wrong time. Your video was wonderful!
I’m sorry, I can’t find a way to get the CC turned on, maybe because there is very very little commentary. It goes something like, “Today, we are at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. We got here a little early and so they are still setting up.” Then it’s just music and quilts!
