How to Remove Mirror on 2016 Ford Focus

- In this video, I show you how to remove the passenger side wing mirror on a 2016 Ford Focus. This procedure will be the same for 2012 - 2018, with barely any changes between model years.
The only tools needed are:
(A): 3/8 ratchet with extension
(B): 3/8 drive T-30 Torx bit
(C): trim removal tool or flat screwdriver

Great video! Out of interest do specifically need to use this ratchet or can you use a T30 screwdriver instead?
If you have the screwdriver, try it. Not sure how much torque is required.

I think so, but haven't worked on an 18
woow, almost nothing changed since mk2.5 (2009.) Only the look of mirror and connector fitting
I don't know if you know but here goes - passenger side mirror doesn't work and never worked since I've had it since Feb . Now can't be the fuse becasue it's only one fuse for both sides ? It doesn't move and no turn signal . Only the passenger sde doesn't work 15 Fusion SE
I would be guessing. But lacking both turn signal and motor sounds like two circuits. Or a ground.
So ... first thought ... is it plugged in? Is any of the wires through the door damaged?
@@danielwilson7572 yes look at possible wire damage or if it’s unplugged. Do you know what the black box the control module does ? Could that control both functions?

I haven't removed one. I believe removal and installation will be the same but the plug will probably be different.

We tore down a 15 and 16 side by side. Basically taking parts from the 15 to fix the 16. Yes as long as trim levels are the same they should be identical.

Anyone have ideas how to do this for a C-Max? I thought it might be the same as this but it isn't and can't seem to find anywhere. (Some car companies make mirror that fol back when you hit something or have a narrow space. But Ford? Of course not.)

@@danielwilson7572 Tha'ts what I figured. But three screws all of them deeply recessed and ....you have to remove the door panel!
