Still one of the best drum covers I’ve ever heard. There’s no wasted energy. It’s not too over played. Executed perfectly. You can tell he felt that while he was playing. Each time the stick hit was necessary. Hope you’re doing well, brother.

@@luisfuentes3559 I think it's a broken cymbal (I'm referring to the chipped edges, not the holes since that's a type of cymbal you could buy). I bet he broke it but found the sound still good so he kept it, lmao.
I had a crash with 70% of the rim chipped off and it sounded like natural delay when it wobbled. Or you could tape it closed to get the tightest china sound I've ever heard.
broken cymbal has nothing to do with being pro. i play on broken cymbals all the time. cuz of a certain sound i want. hes most likely sponsored or just has good money so he can buy new cymbals everyday if he wanted. he just chooses to keep that. possibly cuz of the sound because it sounds pretty good
Man, fantastic skill. I love this cover and showcase. I am a beginner drummer and pianist on my channel, and you really have a lot of potential don't ever stop. You have some sick double bass beats and very good timing and chops, bravo!
I can see that this is hard, I can already see that those perfect pedal covers were hard af, that itself would take awhile to actually do. Most people can’t even double pedal like that. Keeping in time must’ve been difficult as well, I don’t even really play drumset that much and I can see the struggles in making that cover. If I’m wrong correct me
I'm a drummer, I'm astonished, however I disagree with this comment. I feel like I would have been more impressed if I didn't know how to drum. It's like knowing all the tricks to a magic show.
I will never understand how people use the foot pedals like they're just regularly using drumsticks with their hands. Dude is literally better with his feet than I am with my hands 💀

probably because it took him a thousand takes. look at how many jumpcuts in the video. even the symbols are turned a different way when the camera changes. i mean, he's got skill for sure. but i'd like to see him do the whole thing in one sitting.
@Nick does Quad drumming Maybe, but you don't need feet with Snare or Tenors. Maybe only in walking/marching together, but his feet are super fast, even, and consistent

Hell fuckin yea bro. I gotta try this now
2:14 he got me when he started that roll and when he flipped the stick. From then I knew I was just watching raw talent. Pure skill, and a young man that could go places with his drumming ability.
Check out luke holland he has some sick ass stick tricks too!
Honestly the stick tricks aren't even impressive compared to his dynamic ghost notes and clean double bass.
You know he is a real pro drummer when you see him playing on a broken cymbal!
Is it a broken cymbal? I thought maybe it was DIY modification to get the sound he wants. It looks like it has holes drilled as well.
@@luisfuentes3559 I think it's a broken cymbal (I'm referring to the chipped edges, not the holes since that's a type of cymbal you could buy). I bet he broke it but found the sound still good so he kept it, lmao.
@@luisfuentes3559 i was thinking that too, it probably gives it a specific sound
I had a crash with 70% of the rim chipped off and it sounded like natural delay when it wobbled. Or you could tape it closed to get the tightest china sound I've ever heard.
broken cymbal has nothing to do with being pro. i play on broken cymbals all the time. cuz of a certain sound i want. hes most likely sponsored or just has good money so he can buy new cymbals everyday if he wanted. he just chooses to keep that. possibly cuz of the sound because it sounds pretty good
Everytime i feel good at drumming, i Come back to that Video and get my self esteem smashed to work even harder
His grooves are cleaner than my grandmothers kitchen.
It’s sad rappers don’t use real drummers:(, bc this would be so cool at a concert
I believe MGK uses one
Travis barker has a few appearences
eminem does
Kottonmouth kings hahaha
Seen Kendrick Lamar use a real drummer
When you’re over qualified for the job
Gods Savior william?
He needs to make the exact same video, but with the red costume from the "when ur overqualified" video😂
@@timhout2032 Yeah except the Over Qualified For The Job is just a tiny bit harder than this...
Lehtokurppa Von Fön true that, but still
Metal Inc what do you mean?
Man, fantastic skill. I love this cover and showcase. I am a beginner drummer and pianist on my channel, and you really have a lot of potential don't ever stop. You have some sick double bass beats and very good timing and chops, bravo!
This is better than what I expected
for all the non drummers you don’t understand how hard this is it’s not as easy as it looks
Brother... this looks FAR from easy. Travis Barker himself was taking notes on this one
Arason Bruh who the hell on this planet would think this is easy???? This doesn't look easy at all wtf 😂
No hate.... But a real drummer would see how the backing track hi hats are doing all the work here.
Its cool though.
Are you serious that this guy has only one drum cover?? Wtf get some more!!!
He has another cover, check out the other videos!
- I cant stop watching this , dudes the real deal - 37 years one of best Ive ever seen
I will never understand how people use the foot pedals like they're just regularly using drumsticks with their hands. Dude is literally better with his feet than I am with my hands 💀
practice, practice and more practice. Also some drummer have sick feets, but no hands. thats clearly not the case here
It's all about finding a technique that works for you and just cranking out practice
Those singles between his hand and foot got me jealous
Its called muscle memory , more practice = more efficiency .
Double foot peddle
So disappointed in youtube... This video was only recommended to me now and its been out since last year. He has 5k subs right now and is SO underrated with how well this is edited and filmed. Keep it up man, and i hope you take this success as a step to even more amazing content!! Either way, so glad i found your channel and everyone who sees this, please sub to this guy. He's amazing
30,000 subscribers without any videos same😪
30,000 subscribers without any videos cause he’s ass lol. This is beginner level Haha
@@Haylem yes this is super easy shit smh
@@Haylem The editing and video quality was really good though.
30,000 subscribers without any videos better now than never
I'm a diehard metalhead but I never knew that Travis Scott's music fit metal so much. Amazing.
A lot of rap does - I feel like the two genres gel really well whenever they’re put together
@@MissBTES I agree! Trap Metal goes nuts and I still love nu metal.
Listen to "takyon" by death grips. That song feels like it was meant to be metal. It even features kind of a breakdown in the end.
Ikrrrrrr 😭 same dude but i love Kendrick Lamar and old school hip hop too
@@extremedrumming3393 Death Grips are amazing too.
i come back to this video like every 6 months. Stil doesn't get old. Good shit my guy
Same lol
I also don’t understand how you don’t have more hype man. Keep posting content, don’t stop! People like you get far! You’re so talented man! We need more originality like this. It’s only a matter of time before you blow up and become a success man. Keep it up.
@@WhatTheQuack stop hating
@@Flexiruler1 thats not hate bro... but he talks like he gonna be the next Bonham
Originality? It’s a cover
1:49
Are we not going to talk about the broken cymbal? This guy goes hard lol.
MrWii98 you‘re probably no drummer, right?
mr.x lmao exactly my thought
Lets start a kickstarter to buy him a new one
@@mrx-ij8bj No lol
That's normal for a lot of drummers haha, but this guy is awesome!
I love how he is so calm while he plays it and how he effortlessly plays this
Relaxtion is key to drumming
probably because it took him a thousand takes.
look at how many jumpcuts in the video.
even the symbols are turned a different way when the camera changes.
i mean, he's got skill for sure. but i'd like to see him do the whole thing in one sitting.
@@poisoncurls882 loooooolll when you love something you can do it perfectly
My man here is a savage! Nice work, dude! Making it look easy. Love the double kick work!
Anyone else wonder how the camera angles magically switch but you can’t see any extra camera men?
they edit it out of the frame, or they have them on the ceiling or the drum handles
@@elijahjones6755 nah its different times
Phillip J Puhotau yes or that as well
He filmed it separately in each angle
Look closely you can see them, he just zoomed them out of the frame
Maaaannnnnn, those stick flips and allat... MURDERED IT!!!!
HIs double bass is amazing. The feet are so even.
@Nick does Quad drumming Maybe, but you don't need feet with Snare or Tenors. Maybe only in walking/marching together, but his feet are super fast, even, and consistent
Rarely rewarch videos...this was a exceptional
This guy's definitely a metal drummer
Edit: I left this comment alone for a month and i come back to almost 800 likes
Also I should say that what brought me to the conclusion that he's a metal drummer is *not* only the fact that he uses double bass, I'm not stupid like that
if not he should be...
He is/was idk currently
Almost all drummers play double kicks these days
It's too good to not use
the black dahlia murder poster explain it
Have you read the short book "the Present" yet? It is free just by searching global truth project and going on the 1st site. This book explaining the truth about life and death can change the world
Is no one going to talk ab his lit mustache
Millions of brazillians have this "lit" mustache
Looking like Mahershela Ali
Jeff Jr too bad they’re all 13 and under
I personally never liked this song, but damn... he's got chops.
I hate the song but I love the drumming.
@Ghost ft Nope, I'm sane. The lyrics of that song are offensive.
@@knightoyin6500 its not that its offensive its just its not my style of music
@@knightoyin6500 fuckin nerds lmao
@@basedrt4545 No, I'm just civil and with a working moral compass. Try it sometime, its very refreshing not having junk pumped into your mind.
