    Hey guys, a little under the weather thanks to the covid shot, but I wanted to push through it and deliver this video anyway! Token Magic FX is great for visualizing the battlefield, with animated overlays that can go on tokens, tiles, templates, and drawings!

    I came for the love of Kobolds, I stayed for the amazing content. Keep up the amazing work! Your channel has convinced me to make the switch to Foundry!

    The amount of times I wanted to be able to tell a web spell from a fog cloud on the battlefield is not zero. This is really helpful!

    Dumb question, but how did you get that inky black effect for gneis' token? And how did you get it to be behind the character picture?

    • @KoboldDM
      @KoboldDM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The effect on Gneis is the Mage Armor effect in the module. I think it works the way it does specifically for gneis because the effect targets darker areas on a token.

    Nice ship. Where'd you get it?

    Weird question is there a way to have a NPCs token to have one of these filters all the time? like already have it when it goes on the board?

    • @KoboldDM
      @KoboldDM  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know of any way but I would ask in the foundry discord!

      @@KoboldDM Hey i did wind up getting an answer. You can apply the filter to the token and if you select it and open on the token sheet from the character sheet you can hit "Assign Token" and it will always have the filter on it.

    How do you get the measured template to change direction? When I use a spell, it only shoots to the right.

      Nevermind. I just figured it out. :D

    Is this possible with pf2e?

    • @KoboldDM
      @KoboldDM  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The features on tokens and tiles work just the same, but I'm not certain about templates. If they're placed automatically upon casting a spell, it might work. I'm not as familiar with the pf2e system

      @@KoboldDM There is no Automate Template Effects -> Template Settings button in the addon, is the video made on an older version?

    • @KoboldDM
      @KoboldDM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ghilteras what I said was a guess. Again, I'm not familiar with pf2e. You'd have better luck asking in the foundry discord.

      @@KoboldDM I'm talking about the token fx addon, what version are you using? I don't see what you see in module settings. This has nothing to do with 5e vs pf2e

    • @secretfire6446
      @secretfire6446 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the moment, Token Magic template settings are only available for dnd5e, but pf2e is in the pipeline.
