I think you may have inadvertently stumbled across a new series - "Ineffectual Ghosts and where to see them"! Another informative video that left me a little sad, mostly because I work near there and I haven't seen my office since around the time that Shakespeare was alive. Nice work. CD#123
I think it is a monument in rememberence to Edam cheese. I sometimes get sleep paralysis and one night I woke up sleep paralysed thinking my dog was lying on me. After a few seconds I realised it wasn't my annoying spaniel but instead it was a massive black dog sitting on my chest looking at me. It was quite scary. It might have been that black dog you mentioned in your story.
Not sure what the monument is, but would recommend any superheroes stay clear, that is definitely made of kryptonite. Lex Luther has a lot to answer. Thanks for the walk and scary stories xxx
i'm going to have to try this one so I can see the Shakespeare bust & all that lovely art. I was near here, the day I went to Carnaby St & walked to the Tate Modern. I had lunch at a different pub near Blackfriars. Definitely need to explore more. also, that sculpture is some kind of ode to Fortune Cookies
Marek... Are you not a little worried that on every corner someone was killed or maimed slightly to death? London history everywhere freaks me out. As a foreigner in New Zealand I’m blissfully unaware of historical deaths surrounding me at all times. PS you are looking particularly svelte and handsome of late, but not very cast bronze shepherd like. Maybe if you got some sheep and took off your clothes we could do a fair comparison. But I do like where you are going with the metal head... reminds me of a Bushranger.

It is cool round Guildhall. There's a nice square you can sit and have lunch in.

There was a monument to Bushrangers, but I decided not to include that as I was worried about there being too much Bushranger content in the videos.
