Satoru Ozaki - Artist Talk at Making in 2022, Joseph Walsh Studio

in September 2022, Wahei Aoyama and Kumiko Sunahara of Kanata proudly participated in the 2022 edition of Joseph Walsh’s Making In in Kinsale, Ireland, in support of Kanata sculptor Satoru Ozaki of Chiba, Japan.
Making In is a global platform that celebrates and considers making as a way of thinking, exploring, expressing and imagining, and is the focal point for an international movement of like-minded individuals who believe in sharing the ideas of making across disciplines and generations. The theme for 2022 was Making In: Time.
Satoru Ozaki’s talk with Glenn Adamson was one of the highlights of the event, and the artist’s story of how he was discovered by Kanata really did bring tears to the eyes of many. We hope you enjoy the entire presentation in full!
