I like pork rinds but sometimes when using the in breading, they are a little overwhelming. So, if I am understanding you correctly, these are not overwhelmingly in cooking, is that what I am hearing? Also, the bbq seasoning, would that work as a rub? If not, do you have a bbq rub? Keep up the good work and thanks!!!!
Yes, these are great. I had been looking for some for people that can't get fresh pork rinds because the older they get, the stinkier they get 🤣 making these fresh every time is perfect. I've got a lot of desserts I'm working on with pork rinds and so I needed to find these so that people would be able to get fresh non stinky pork rinds. 🤣 You could use it, and it's similar, but this is my favorite th-cam.com/video/L9LRa-JRVtI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the research and recommendation of quality fresh pork pellets! You are right that the flavor is not very porky and far less greasy. I got some with your coupon code but I had different results than you on the cooking methods! My 1100 watt microwave made the worst results (with oil spray or without) with some un-puffed areas left hard enough to almost break a tooth even at 3 minutes. Mine must cook very unevenly. The oven method cooked (fewer minutes in a pre-heated oven at 400F as you said not the 450F they recommend) with the most delicate crumb but not extremely crisp, this might work extremely well crushed as crumbs in baked goods particularly doing a larger batch. The air fryer got very crisp/crunchy and the flavor was a bit stronger even with my inexpensive little Ninja air fryer that maxes out at 390F (again not your 400F nor 450F they recommend) and definitely 3-ish minutes not 5. With my equipment, its the microwave I'll probably not do again which is ironic as the product is called "microwave pork rinds". BTW, they sent a lollipop as a thank you - I don't have the heart to point out to them how inappropriate the literally sweet gesture was to keto folks. I am now a convert!
You're very welcome! Did you make sure your microwave was on high? You could even take ones out once they puff up and leave the others in. Yeah, they're not a keto company as you will see if you look at other stuff on their website, but they did have the freshest and best quality ones that I found. 😁 So glad you enjoyed them 😁
