Overcoming Common Cleaning Challenges

Robust cleaning procedure is an important factor that can contribute to the success of the overall pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Common cleaning issues such as Air-Liquid Interface (ALI) rings, rouge, biofilm, and other challenging soils can increase the risk of product contamination, and adulterated drug product can affect patient safety. This presentation will enable the participants to understand the current regulations related to cleaning, and various factors that can affect the effectiveness of the cleaning process such as cleaning procedures. Examples of the cleaning challenges and its remediation procedure will be discussed in detail, together with case studies.
