WARNING to anyone who wants to switch their game between two devices E.g. play on a phone while out and about during the day, and then on a tablet at home If you leave the game running and logged in on both devices, there is a risk that they will overwrite one another because they are both constantly uploading data to the cloud. A viewer commented on another video that they lost all their progress because of this. So be careful! I suggest that once you have your game saved to Facebook, unlinking from Facebook and clearing app data on one device before switching to another, and then again before switching back.

I linked my Facebook account,deleted my cache and data but when i opened the game, i got a message to upgrade it but i checked the playstore and there wasn't a new upgrade so i uninstalled the game and installed again and it worked! Thanks so much!

If you are an Android ( like me ) got to your setting go to apps then go to app data find harry Potter and click clear cache and click clear data it worked for me

I know this is somewhat unrelated to this video but I've been looking for help with saving my progress on this game everywhere and still haven't found any solution... I've been stuck going back to the same save point just before my first charms class in year 1 chapter 2 every time I come out of the app even though I've made it to the point in the story where I get locked in the room with the killer plant creature and Rowan by bitchy witchy Ursula ;n; It is extremely frustrating, time-wasteful and almost makes me just want to give up on this game altogether... :/ Does anyone know what I can do to fix this??? I've already disabled battery optimisation and waited a couple mins before I leave the app like the game's FAQ advised me to do but it's not made any difference... I'm running Android version 9 on my Samsung phone just to give you more info to go on. If you need any more details to help me solve this though then feel free to ask for them as any advice would be really hugely appreciated at this point and it'd really make my day a whole lot better and would just be mega cool of you to me (and give me much more faith in this community/the kindness and knowledge of internet strangers/my fellow phone gamers than the game devs that's for darn sure! 😅 Hahaa..! :')
I was using Apex launcher, but the recently update removed a whole lot of the best features, like drawer tabs. So I wouldn't necessarily recommend it now.
How do you start the game over again? I haven't played it in over a year and honestly i want to start at the beginning. Im on iOS and i have deleted the game twice, deleted history and cache from safari and nothing, i am back at year two knowing nothing about what happened.

There is no gear icon on the bottom left of my screen. The only thing on the bottom left of screen is an icon to adopt Magical Creatures.

There is another way to retrieve your saved game however this requires u to have more than 1 IOS device
This only works on IOS devices and not Chromebooks or Android
