@@lilguipo1407 That isn't entirely true. We are all hypnotized in one way or another all the time. From driving down the highway and mentally drifting off, reading a book, watching a movie, playing on the interweb. That is the trance part. The suggestion part is mostly done with ads, marketing, political influence, religious beliefs, etc. For instance, you might be thirsty and feeling you want a Coke because that would be refreshing. Even though Coke tastes like battery acid and makes you feel nauseous and a glass of water would be far better for you. Or you think that you medically need to watch the next Avengers movie even though you've pretty much forgotten what you just watched the second you walk out of the theatre. Or you're convince that Trump or Hillary would help fix your world even though both parties are corrupt AF. Or you believe in whatever religion you do even though you've never seen the God that that particular magic book talks about and there are almost as many versions of 'religion' as there are people on earth cus they all see it differently. Hell, your mother probably had you pretty hypnotized every time you were a kid and misbehaving. All she had to do was say '1...2...3......' And you'd stop because you had the fear of God all of a sudden trigger into you. Almost like a Pavlov's Dogs response. Fact is, we are hypnotized in small and grand ways on so many levels and it influences how we see the world around us. The Street/Stage Hypnotists are very overt in their influencing you to be hypnotized. And some people will self hypnotize themselves into a 'I cannot be hypnotized' mentality to fight their influence. But you've always been covertly hypnotized and self hypnotized your whole life. Always will be.
Start off telling the person what they can expect, like being able to stand, leaning onto your shoulder, feeling deep relaxation, so even when confused they know what will happen. When doing this, notice how they hypnotist asked her to step back and then step forward? That was to test compliance to make sure she would follow his suggestions. Even asking her ahead of time if she wanted to be hypnotized was part of that. As he's holding her hand, talking fast, focusing his eyes onto hers, he's looking for her eyes to start going a little glassy. Once you see that, that is when you do the Shock and say 'Sleep' as you pull them onto your shoulder.
I don't see how this works because there's no real pattern interrupt. This is either fake, or she's already in trance, but there's no visual indication of the usual mental confusion you get from people, especially women, who've been repeatedly put in trance.
I watched it in slow motion and he is jus very fast and he hit her in the head wit a bat
what do you look for in her eyes before you pull her arm?
Did you previously tell her what to do when you said sleep ?
+pistooli1 The only explanation before this was a safety talk and what hypnosis is and is not. Hope that helps..
Why’d he ask if she was left or right handed?
Nicholas Powell it’s called witchdoctoring, it’s actually irrelevant, but is used to distract the participant, before the main induction.
D Taylor ah cool thabks
And checking compliance
Can you do this to a random person or just walk up to someone and do it?
If you build RAPPORT and know the basis of hypnosis, not just the mechanic you are seeing.
You cannot hypnotize someone against their will. 10% of any giving audience can and will be hypnotized.
