And then… the long wait in between set (after completing my brilliant and evolving skies master set) and chilling was so cheap 115$ Canadian dollars. I had no choice. Did not regret it whatsoever Now only missing galarian rapidash and the set is complete

i believe the code cards does tell you if its a hit or not, the older code cards are either green or white and if its white its a hit and the newer code cars have a border of white or black with the black containing the hit.

Chilling reign isn’t bad. I think people didn’t like the quality control on the cards. Lots of off centre and white dots on the backs it seemed like. Your box was actually decent to be fair
@@DKCards I think the newer sets with trainer gallery cards are setting the bar very high. Now we get so many more cool hits, that when we revisit old sets and only hit a few choice card it feels like a big let down…
@@tallcatshortdog I’ve noticed that with the common cards yeah but I’ve been quite lucky with the ‘hits’ I’ve got. No whitening and centering hasn’t been too bad really. Must just be luck of the draw too
I’ve opened a lot of chilling reign and it has been chilling pain 😂 my best pull was the alt art shadow rider vmax from a random collection box. I ended up buying the shiny gold Snorlax because that was my chase

@@deezhustle5664 yeah for sure! There's sellers posting product everyday, pp goods and services always and you mostly have to private message them for them to tell you their costs. Most people will say v star universe too hyped right now so idk how much that will cost closer to release.

I would say start really slow my friend maybe one pack every week max, just building from sleeved singles. Or if you like a certain set, buying singles from tcg player or eBay from VERIFIED users. Same applies for a certain pokemon you may like as well.
Fusion strike is trash. Yes it has done great cards in the set but you can't ever hit those cards stop it doesn't matter. I am not a hater of chilling reign. I think hating on CR is just the wannabe cool kid thing to do. Now is it a monster, no but isn't not terrible either.
Lol I think I have been pretty lucky with chilling reign. Most people I have spoken to, EVEN the person I bought it from clearly told me it was the worst set he has ever opened in terms of drop rates. Im in no delusion that fusion and chilling reign are probably the harder sets to pull anything from. Both have amazing chase cards though, especially fusion so I think fusion might go a bit higher than CR in the future. But we will see!

Yeah honestly it was nice, I didn't hate this box at all considering I only expected 5 or 6 v cards and max a trainer card. This box was legit. I may need to get more chilling reign boxes haha
