It would be nice if the fixed shelf in the lower kitchen cabinet was a slide out, so you could more easily see all the food on the shelf without bending over or getting down on the floor. Nice rig!

I need a combination of the two. I like the front lounge, but the full fridge. And wish the shades had a latch so they could go down part of the way, but we could do that. Also, want more panels and batteries, and twin beds. Otherwise.......I'm in!

There both beautiful but when will you change to induction cook top the propane is dangerous in such a small space there is definitely enough power for a induction

    • @gerrynightingale9045
      @gerrynightingale9045 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

*Propane has been used for at least fifty-years in RV's and there's nothing to support "It's dangerous!" at all when
used and maintained properly, just the same as anything else*
*"Induction" works ONLY with special cookware and nothing else, and cannot be used to create heat in extreme
cold conditions when all electric has failed for whatever reason*

Very well thought out. The large fridge with two compartments is excellent. I also love the bathroom. Two must haves. Closet is huge, front swivel seats is a big plus! Galley has a long counter also excellent. The roll down blinds look cheap however, these are very poor quality and allows light in. Why skimp on blinds? Look at the Euro RV blinds, so perfect.
The other thing you might consider, is to lift the bed up and put a huge garage space under it. All the Euro RVs do it. Why not us? Wasting all that space above the bed. No place to put a bike or gear.

The only option I really would like to have is a compressor refrigerator! Many RV parks or areas for boon-docking are not level...I have a class A with auto leveling so it’s not an issue now, but I think it would be a pain to use leveling blocks with a class B! Please consider this for those of us who love your product and the quality that they bring! Thank you!

Pleasure Way has the best build quality. Their electrical system is far behind the competition. We have reached an era where use of generators are becoming obsolete.

    • @gerrynightingale9045
      @gerrynightingale9045 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

*There's no 'We' involved here* *The 'generator' is still needed for 'back-up' power and to prevent over-strain on the
batts. under heavy-load conditions without outside electric supply coming in*
*The demand from 'A/C' under boondock conditions is too great for (2) Li. batts. to supply anything else, and to
use even more Li. batts. for more power means 'more needs to come in' which in turn means more PV panels
which there simply not enough room for up-top*
*What 'Competition?* *WHO offers 'more power' on a 22ft. long coach???*
*NAME IT instead 'hand-flapping' like a moron talking shit of 'How fucking 'informed' you are!*
*Generators are far from 'Obsolete' because ANY battery has a finite amount of charge and no more...and then requires 'something else' to CHARGE THEM and PV-panels cannot supply enough unless there are MANY of them*
*And 'PV's' require strong sun, and cannot supply any power AT ALL at night!*

Dean Rumple: Thanks for great MHs and video: Pros: truma aquago, large frig, large windows, memory foam, smart tv & bose SB, large bath in TS, exc Galley w long counter, great sink/faucet/storage. I'm not buying as I want more..would rather pay $25-30k more and get: 3600 watt inverter/600-800 AH lithium to run a 12v quiet AC. I almost bought the TS but changed my mind when I fired up the generator (still very loud with resonator and right under bed) and AC...it's just too loud to sleep and in the hot/humid climate these days must have AC...thus making the upgraded electric (like in Winnebago Boldt) essential. Also want more 4 season like Boldt. Finally, cabinets are fine but used to be nicer in older models...cabinets not a dealbreaker, just a nitpick. Keep up the good work PW...you're getting there!

    • @user-zm1iy8vi8j

Both models are quite beautiful and full of utility. Impressive tour as usual.
Really like the bathroom spaces having some color to them.
Minor feedback below the (read more) break:
    Front Lounge model.
The front lounge built in table looks ..just.. out of reach to use a laptop on comfortably without relying on the lagoon table. Also would be curious if the screen's mount allows for extension away from the wall to serve as a larger monitor output. (hard to read text at a distance, so would want to bring closer)
The bathroom of the FL model looks hard to stand in, as the sink/toilet in opposition seems to leave little room to stand with legs straight in between them. (Reality may be different, but view in video looks tight.), I'm wondering if you've ever considered a hinged fold away design for the sink or a way to mount such a folding sink above the toilet or orienting the toilet at an angle? Something to give a little more direct standing space in the complicated puzzle box that is a small form wet bathroom. I've seen fold away sinks in old boat videos, but perhaps there is a good reliability reason not to use that type of design?
One accidental feature of the FL is that the screen in the rear is closer to the people sitting back there, as it is mounted on the floating closet, so it better makes up for being a relatively small screen. I call that a plus vs. the minus of the storage taking up some of the seating volume.
    TS Model
Largely love this design. Bathroom is one of the most appealing wet bath designs I've seen (not really a fan of them, but this isn't nearly as off putting as the sterile white plastic look they often hold.)
Rear television screen is adequate in size (for both models), but have you ever considered putting in a larger 21:9 aspect ratio screen that rotates 90 degrees to fit the space while giving allowing for a bigger screen when parked and a smaller apparent screen in the tucked away traveling configuration? Also might allow for two video feeds to play at same time, so two people could watch separate videos with headphones.
Regarding either design. The impressive kitchen island extends well into the opening of the sliding door. This is great for all the storage and work surfaces, but that beautiful expanse of cabinetry laminate also seems like a minor lost opportunity to have some minor additional storage solution surface mounted there. Clearance is pretty limited, but hooks, another flat screen for external viewing, or even a little spot for magnet/whiteboard or a single bit of framed art are things I might do with that space if I owned one of these.
    Once again, beautiful practical designs.

What gets me about your vehicles much as I'd like one like it: I am only five feet tall, and that's all the taller I will get. I'm 68 years old, so no more growing taller, darn it. I would need a stool to put anything in the microwave as it is above the refrigerator. Yet, your bathroom is so small that a person tall enough to work the microwave would find it particularly small. Don't you have an alternative arrangement for small people? Hang the microwave below the kitchen shelves like a lot of residential kitchens. This is a much bigger problem in your Ascent than the Plateau. Either way, I would have to win the lottery or Publishers Clearing House prize before I could buy one of these and/or return in a next life without a disability for which I've been cruelly discriminated against on the job that has caused me to earn less than someone with a college degree like I have.

Dear Pleasureway: your running boards - which are contiguous with the van’s body - give off a “lower middle class” to “upper lower class” vibe. Your running boards remind me of all the rusty $6,000 vans from the 1970s. Your vans are Superior to Winnebago in all but this one aspect. The Running boards on the Winnebagos are contemporary and sporty looking. They don’t remind me I’m spending $150,000 just for a “van”. Your vans do, because of your running boards.
I won’t be buying a van for another 4 to 5 years but hopefully you guys will have seen the light by then.

Bring back campers that are built on the Chevy/GMC chassis not these flimsy euro junk

i agree but they don't seem to be interested in this rv or cargo/passenger market as Ford has done. If you"re a Ford Transit fan, that"s the way to go. For me a Chevy/GMC Wide Sprinter type Cargo/Passenger or RV would be the way to go. Wide meaning along the line of MB Revel.
