Macherla-Gadwal line seems very good as there is a big gap in this area without rail network.
If railways is not interested in this route, then they should atleast think about connecting Mahbubnagar-Nalgonda towns.

Good Route, Economically Viable as it Eliminate Railway Bridge Cost on Krishna River & Forest Area. Connecting three Backward District Wanaparthy, Nagar Kurnool, Nalgonda Of Telangana District with Guntur & Vijayawada District Of Andhra Pradesh.
KCR Sir & SCR Railway Pls sanction these project.

I think, from Thirumalagiri to Nalgonda also possible, this will help macherla to go to hyd directly. If it is constructed, railways can start a train from macherla to sec via thirumalagiri and nalgonda. And also what is the possibility of Macherla and Markapur tow to Markpaur road?. I think this route is also important. Nice info, but lets hope for the best.

Perhaps, your comment has been undoubtedly correct. The mindset of present rulers at Delhi, Hyderabad and Amaravathi seems to be not moving on progressive path. They have been moving on aggressive & regressive paths. No initiative from them to undertake progressive & prosperous Public Development works. Macherla- Gadwal Railway line & Nandyal- Jadcherla Railway line are highly precious & prestigious projects for both the Telugu states & Nation as a whole.

It is better to construct line from vishnupuram-gadwal which can avoid bridge across Krishna near n sagar can save hundreds of crores to Rlys n govts. It will direct link from motumarri-jaggaypet-janpahad-vishnupuram-tirmalgiri-n towards gradually. One straight line helps to transport coal n other goods
